Yeah… it’s just been a super crazy week. Works been 9 to 9 almost every day getting ready for summer programs and vacation. We leave on Sunday morning.
Posted legs on Wednesday or Thursday this week. Got like 15 minutes in and then ended up having to run back to the business. Got it done today though. Hardest leg session I’ve ever done.
Couple of warm up sets of squats
Amrap 4:40 squats at 95lbs. Think I got about 85 reps. My lower back just gets so tight there towards the end.
3x30 leg extensions and curls
3x30 goblet squats, and then 4 minutes Tabata leg press. I’m scared of the dome tomorrow.

No weigh in today. Got one final shoulder session in on Saturday before vacation. Woke up at 4:30 this morning for a 5:15 pickup to go to the airport. I payed a little extra to get the 8:00 am flight out. As fate would have it we showed up to the airport and the flight got moved to 12:25 departure. Ugh… super irritating, but what can you do?
Guess we’ll just chill at the airport for 5 hrs. Pool and ocean will still be there when we arrive.

Have you tried some heavy 5-8 rep sets of paused front or back squats beating the log book regularly? I’m sorry I have not read your whole log, just the last 30 days or so.
I think this would really take your physique to the next level. I know your legs are not necessarily judged, but those heavy squats really transform your entire physique. The pause gives a little more TUT and is pure magic for growth.
Same with trap bar deads (minus the pause). Physique game changer with the low handle and some hard fought reps in that lower hypertrophy range.
Congrats on the physique success, that’s some hard work you’ve put in in the kitchen and weight room.

Well I’m back from vacation and it was an interesting one as far as the scale goes…
I left at 182 and was planning on simply enjoying myself and not tracking nutrition at all. The resort had a great gym so I was going to try to get three sessions in during the week. (A push, a pull, and a legs).
Days 1-4
Got my push session and pull session in, ate like a champ and saw 190 on the scale lol. I don’t know why they put a scale in a resort bathroom. Maybe to help weigh luggage.
Day 5-6
Get violently ill for about 36 hours. I’ve had food poisoning and stomach flu in the past but nothing like this. I didn’t leave either the bed or the bathroom floor for a full day and a half. Everything hurt so bad. Finally another guest gave my wife some zofran and things started to settle down. I finally fell asleep only to wake up covered in vomit and shit! I don’t even remember doing it. Horrible is an understatement!
Day 7
I’m up and around but pretty weak and eating very small amounts of bland food. I get home and hop on the scale this morning at 176.2 lol.
Well here’s to an eventful vacation! Back to the grind tomorrow

Nah… wouldn’t have been too stoked about that lol. Bummer to miss the last two days for sure but it’s ok. We had a great time otherwise.
It was an all inclusive that we booked like 3 months ago so I spent under $100 the whole trip. A few well placed $20s throughout the week really make a difference in the service at the bar when it’s busy.
We’re headed to Hilton Head Island in two weeks and then to West Palm Beach in July so I’ll get my beach fix in for sure.
I’ll take 176 over 190+ all day long.
