Awesome job! It’s awesome that you thought Pwn was doing it with a 45 lb axle. You ended up pushing yourself further than you normally would have.
100 reps is the minimum, and it’s performed with an unweighted axle.
It’s like if I say “Super Squats” and you watch the workout and go “That was just 20 reps of squats. What makes them Super Squats?” The name conveys the parameters.

Ha! I didn’t get that it was with an axel. I can’t imagine. The worst part was my grip and forearms. You guys probably noticed that the last 20 reps or so I was pausing on the up position. I would have dropped it for sure in the down position. I don’t have an axel so I guess I’m doing jackolee curls lol
That’s for sure! jumping up 20lbs is pretty stupid… but i figured with it being light weight and high reps I’d just fail early. Wasn’t too worried about hurting myself.

Nope. It’s stupid with your 1RM on a full body movement, not with your 100RM on an isolation exercise. It’s just a testament to your work ethic. Be proud of yourself, and I’ll wait patiently for the 100 rep 47.5# video.

I’ve tried some Poundstone Curls with the axle at my gym* but I’m a while from getting 100 reps without putting down the axle.
I find 50 doable, but super tough. I call this version Pennystone Curls, but the Yanks may want to change it to Ouncestone Curls if they’d like to steal that excellent joke.
*Which, tbf, is 20kg/45lbs.

Based on the mirror I felt really lean this morning, so was surprised to see 179.2. Not too worried about it. Today’s my daughters 15th birthday so I’m sure the food choices for dinner won’t be the best.
