Woke at 176.8 and feeling 100%

Today’s gonna be a busy day so gonna have to hustle to get everything in.

Pool maintenance
A little yard work
Meal prep
Workout chest and triceps at noon
Design work for a youth ninja warrior tournament we’re hosting
Pay bills
Work this evening
Date night with youngest daughter afterwards

Seeing all the strength logs and PR talk has me half itching to try some heavy lifts today. Might be that guy and break out the camera in the gym lol.

So glad to not feel like crap. Ate breakfast about an hour ago and everything’s good!

Didn’t get to a real gym today so I just did a normal high volume set today.

Cable press
Cable fly
Incline cable press
Incline cable fly
Narrow dumbbell press
Tricep rope push down
Overhead triceps rope extension
Single arm rope pull down

Finishers
25 lb dumbbells alternating chest press and flys. 100 reps
Triceps bar push down 6 on the stack 100 reps

Food was on point today so I’m chilling in the backyard with some TX whisky! Perfect 70 degree evening.

That looks awesome. I’m trying to convince my wife to sell our house (we’ve owned for 18 months) to build a new home on a lake.

I’ve got Cubans to smoke and good scotch to drink. I need a backyard like yours to really savor the experience.

It’s great when it’s kept up, but just be ready for all the maintenance. Somethings always overgrown lol.

Ha! For sure. I have chased doing my own yard maintenace for last 4 years. This year, I finally hired a company. Now my weekends are free to enjoy.

I’m just waiting for @robstein to tell me scotch is part of the diet. This stuff has been sitting here waiting for me.

I’ll have to give that a go, when I can. I’ve never made it past 18.

I’ve been in a smoky phase lately. Lots of Islay, especially in a Rob Roy.

Your backyard is awesome Jack, and sitting there with a nice whisky looks so relaxing, I’ll bet you sleep like a baby after an evening there.

I’m a Glenfiddich guy myself, I really don’t like the smokey ones.

Lately I’ve switched to rum  that is so different to whisky/ey

Your house looks great mate. When is the party ?

Rum huh… I’ve had a few spiced ones I like but only on occasion. Whiskey runs in these veins

Your backyard looks more expensive than my house. I figure if I can ever afford something like that then I can also afford to pay someone to keep it cleaned up. Neither will ever happen though.

I bet we could have a pretty epic time if the forum guys were to throw down one night lol!

It was just an overgrown mess with giant holly bushes. My wife and I put in that setup ourselves one stone at a time. I never want to hammer a rock, or mix concrete again. It was a fun learning process but I think it took 5 years off my life. 12 hr days every weekend for around 18 months
