Aren’t you the guy who said once that if you werent able to bench 405 as a natural within 3 or so years of training, you weren’t cut out for lifting weights?
No. I never said that and don’t believe it.

My point was that his progress, while good, doesn’t prove the superiority of any method because its totally within the realm of possibility for kids his age with a few years of dedicated training. FFS, I even stated as much that I wasn’t shitting on his progress. I outright said it in the first sentence of my post.
This isn’t about claiming “superiority”. He got big. He reached his goal…in less time than I have seen many here do it.

You do realize he has competed in bodybuilding and stayed aounrd that current level of leanness ever since right? Granted he used to be a big boy and pounded 20 years worth of big macs.

It doesn’t matter if he ever competed. Most of the guys I train around have competed before. he is NOT in competition weight in that vid so again, his abs are NOT visible because of his shirt…so WHO would actually act like some here seem to be and even CARE if his abs are showing RIGHT WHEN THAT VIDEO WAS SHOT?
No one is telling anyone to gain any more body fat than they need to reach their goal in muscle gains.
I was making a point that most of us in this forum are likely going for a look where we stand out like THAT…not “competition shape”.

You do realize that CT Fletcher is much leaner than yourself right? I don’t see what your point about him has to do with yourself.

The dude stands out because he has 20+ inch arms that are stredded to the bone. He used to be a big dude but fat and in the 300+ club and looked no where near as impactful.
God I love Csulli’s avatar. Somes up these round robin arguments in full for me.

?? It has nothing to do with me at all aside from me saying I would rather look like that than stage weight.
What does him being leaner than me right now have to do with anything?
I will be leaner than I am right now soon also…so what was your point here?
Your saying you’d rather walk around looking like him than being in stage shape. I’m pretty sure anyone would choose that. You were using him as an example to further your point about size>leaness. When in fact he’s pretty damn lean (at least to me).
And I while I don’t think you’re anywhere near 25% or whatever some people have said, I do think you seem to be a bit delusion about your BF just because you seem to store fat well.

he bulked up and leaned down.
That is what I did. It is what I am doing now also…and yeah, 20" arms look impressive alone but veins and definition make them look even better.
Key point I am making here…I do cardio daily. I am leaner than in any pics I have posted here…so I am not sure why some of you seem to have this thing where you feel a need to tell me how lean someone else is…as if I don’t have a goal of being leaner as well.

Ok…let me make this clear.
THIS GUY in the vid was much fatter once. He got huge, got lean and now you see him.
I bulked up. I am now way leaner than I was at 300lbs and leaner than I have been in any pics posted here…so why do you feel some need to tell me this info?

The perspective of this board needs to change.
Im pretty suprised you dont know too much about this dude. I would think you of all people would love his videos and back story. Go watch the strongest man youve never heard of. We had a thread too in the GAL about it. You would love this dude.

I am also one who doesn’t think his arms would be anywhere near that big without those several years of all out working on size and strength.
Dude trained arms everyday for 1.5 years straight. Strict curl champ and i beleive still record holder at 225. Powered by Mac Donalds. Do need to mention his eatin habbits and perma bulking almost killed him and now he lives with a metal valve in his heart and takes 10 different meds a day.
PX didnt say “I look like that guy” … He said “I would RATHER look like that than stage lean”
Although I should mention that CT is basically stage lean at this point. He competed (and won) a few weeks ago, so he is only a few weeks removed from the stage. I train at the same gym… Its fucking nuts in there most days. He really is like that 24/7 and that crew gets DOWN. Not a single fuck is given about Over training… I assure you

I like him already. He is like some of the gyuys I train with. You can’t train like a normal person around people like that.
I am just wondering how it is people see guys like that who did exactly what I am writing about…and then they start writing non sense to me as if I never plan to get leaner or didn’t already drop a ton of body fat.
It seems people see what they want…but yeah, that guy is stone cold and yes, that is what I want to look like, not competition ready ever.
That dudes is the poster child for the approach I am speaking of.
