Lots of responses. Now what is your diet like when bulking?
4200-4500 calories typically
around 5400 calories while using MAG-10 and 2-a-days
usually end up around 40-35-25 macros give or take a few

Dunkaroos
Lifting about eleven years now I guess, but the first three were high school fucking around with no knowledge or diet.
Went from 150 then to a high of a relatively lean (no abs, but no gut) 217. Figure given I was a teenager at 150, and what my (thin) family looks like, I’d be maybe 170 without weights and extra food. So 35+ pounds of lean bodyweight gain. Now 195.
God willing, I make it through OCS this summer without breaking anything or doing anything stupid, I’ll be commissioning as a Marine officer in August. So that’s gonna put a stop to any serious mass gain for the foreseeable future.
In a perfect world, I’d like to sit at a pretty lean 225-230.
Lifted 4 years, past 2 actually doing more than bench press.
Went from 165-250 (85 lbs)
Ultimately 325-350
been working out for almost a year and a half now
starting weight was 135-140
weight now is 185 [5 foot 9]
a nice goal to accomplish for me would be around 225-230, 8-10% bf, but when I reach that I’m sure I will have a new goal set. Always trying to get bigger
Was a distance runner for 16 years before really starting to lift seriously.
Lifting seriously for 6 months.
I’m 5’6". Went from 145 to 163 from 8.9% to 12% and back down to 8.9% at 163.
Goal? A 5’6" 200lb dwarf! Nah, I dunno. Just lift, eat, get big and lean, do an NPC show.
Lifting for about 5 years…2 seriously.
I used to lift very hard, but never ate enough and then wondered why I couldn’t gain any weight. It wasn’t until i truly studied/researched bodybuilding and eating frequently that I just shot up. it’s like my body and muscles were just begging for food. once i started eating over 4000 calories a day i began putting on slabs of muscle. I started at 180, now i’m 220 and i did that in about a year.
Most of this is thanks to T-Nation.

How long have you been lifting? 23yrs.no breaks
How much muscle have you gained?35-40lbs from 150 -185-90
What is your final goal when it comes to body-weight? being between 180-185 Ilook lean and mean. Diet is key. Pro high, Fat and Carbs balanced.
I have been as heavy as 220 and at 5’9" I just looked fat. I’m still trying to figure out whether have the cats wanting to be 250 are clean…? I know very few clean guys who look lean at 230-250 unless your6’4" Again I remember looking back and wanting to be 200+++ pounds but I can honestly say with a lot of experience I would have given up all the bulking Bull!$% If I could have looked leaner. It sucks being a big fat strong guy no one can see what you bench, squat,or dead outside the gym? All though I know a lot of fat guys that don’t seem to care how stupid they look in a sleeve cut off or tank top.
I’ll go first:
Been lifting seriously for about 2 years.
I have gained around 10-15lbs do to being stupid and trying to stay lean, that has changed and now eating like a champ.
I want to reach 220 220 or so and then come down to a leaner 190-200 for Oly-lifting comps.
7ish months
around 35-40 lbs.
My goal… Be the best I can be… Something cheesy like that, but it’s true!

It really strikes me that people can go “hmm why ain’t I growing? I mean I’m like totaly training HARD’n’stuff…”
How does one forget such an important aspect such as food?
good job though!
3 years
70 pounds (180 to 250)
Goal weight is around 300
-Sab
1 year and 1 month
started at 155 now at 220= 60 pounds, not sure on the muscle some was fat but all worth it!
230-240 lean
Diet is tons of meat, veggies, whole wheat noodles, oats, sweet potatoes, to much stuff to list sometimes pizza or a burger. Anything with meat pretty much, might try to trim down a little for the summer not to sure yet.
About 4 years.
I started around 143 lbs, now I am around 186 lbs @ 5"8.
Goal is 200lbs, first some recomp and then a good bulk.
1 year, where 6 months have been somewhat serious.
Started out at a skinny fat 165lbs 5’10, went down to around 143lbs. I am now at 165lbs again, don’t know about bf%, but visually about the same as @ 143lbs.
So about 20 pounds in a half years time. Goal right now is to get to 180-200lbs within this year, and then perhaps do a cut depending on how things look.
