If you were to answer truthfully the following questions:
Are cluster bombs illegal in the US
Are they illegal in Ukraine
Are they illegal in Russia
Has Russia been using said cluster bombs for the last 500 days in Ukraine and 30 years ago in Chechnya
You wouldn’t need a Russel Brand video to tell you that a country is using a legal type of munition according to their laws, supplied by a country where said munition is, you won’t believe this, legal, to fight against armed forces of a country where said munition is, surprise suprise, also legal and which has been using it very extensively literally from the first day of the war, mostly against civilian targets.
So this is dumb leftist bullshit at best, intentional maliciousness at worst. To me Brand videos are equivalent to “menstruating women” crap.

-He also owns the most farmland in the US as a single individual. From my understanding, he has been purchasing animal pastures - not soybean land for this. Forcing his vision via buyout/meat scarcity.
-He also has a very strong interest in atmospheric darkening via chemical spraying to stop global warming.
It’s not quite the same, but he’s not far off.
I believe many Americans look at the premise of war simply as good guys versus bad guys, never thinking that in some cases simply two sides couldn’t get along with or mistreated each other, and no amount or arbitration worked.

I understand the helping Ukraine defend itself against an army seeking to overrun the country.
It’s the “offensive” part of the equation that I’m having trouble dealing with.

To boost my street cred here, because apparently everybody is super bad: back in the day, some street guy wanted to give me a beat down because I was looking at him wrong blah blah, claimed to have a knife blah blah…I didn’t say a word; after trying to walk away, I turned to face the guy, and was 100% focused on my plan of action; the guy turned tail and pretty much ran away w/o me lifting a finger. No, I didn’t chase him to start an offensive.
So, no, I’m not a “menstruating woman” -I know how the world works. And by this point, this war is stupid, and escalation of said war is beyond asinine.
