Cant critique shit till ya cut, but atm ur just a giant brick shithouse, and i mean that in a good way. Youll be pleased when comp comes round, just because all this effort and seeing the results, i think itll change u for the better, something i hope to emulate later on.
Good starting point. Do a recomp for the next few months, then push into a full cut. Right now, the fact that you’re sporting as much muscle mass as you are is the most important factor in my opinion.

it’s a good starting point. keep the pics coming. if you are doing this naturally i would guess you will come into competition shape at the low to mid 190’s. that’s pretty big for a natural bodybuilder and for your first show. i weighed 175 in my first show at age 19.

Well, im seriously expecting a shitstorm for this…but i guess we can call them my Pre cut photos. To make sure everyone’s clear, im going to go over stats once again-
height- 5’9
Weight- 256lbs
Arms- 20inch
Legs- 29inch
Calves- 19inch
Forearms- 15inch
Chest- Dunno, but got fitted for a suit the other day, and my suit top size is 50.
As you are about to see, the majority of my fat is stored in what i like to call my Kangaroo pouch- It is my lower midsection, and continues to the sides where it forms fantastic love handles. I hate my body, i hate these pics, and i hate that im actually putting some of these up. I refused to do shirtless…
that’s too bad, a lot of people on this site would probably trade with you lol. 20 inch arms and 50 inch chest is nothing to laugh at
I wouldn’t expect anyone to flame you for having some bodyfat, you have obviously put in work and I don’t think anyone doubts that you will have a successful cut
good luck and hope you continue to share your experience
you’re a big dude. lats look wide and thick, not to mention that your chest is going to look great once dieted down. In my opinion (if it matters at all) i would say that you need a little more ‘cap’ on your delts, but i hesitate to say it because thats also something that comes with lower body fat so we will wait and see.
you look great akuma, good luck with your dieting and keep this thread updated often!
Good thread though big guy, we’ve had our difference in the past but you know I luv you. Keep plugging away man, you’ll do well!

Lol differences my ass, we had our “You being a Dbag,” ya big dbag.
<3
As for the delts comment, my delts normally look better than that. My chest and calves were both extremely pumped from the workout, as i had just started lifting heavy again, but as you said, we’ll see what happens when i start dropping.
My big problem is the psychological walls that i put up. Im always disappointed in how i look because of who i compare myself to. Im also sheepish in revealing myself at this stage because of my fear of being one of those “Clueless Competitors.” When i see myself in particular lightings at the gym, i think pieces look good, at that moment in time, but im not looking at areas, im looking at muscles and their correspondence with other muscles. But then when i take these pictures, and im using a different lighting area because people are still in the gym at 11 and I dont feel comfortable taking off my shirt in front of them, i look back at these and think “What was i doing.” I see the downside, the negatives, i notice the pudge here, or the bulge there. i see that i didnt spread my legs in one short, so it looks like i have massive delts and no legs, while in another shot, i turned too much this way, or whatever.
Lookin big Akuma. I doubt you’ll flamed at all for your before pictures because you dont look like some fat slob. You’ve obviously got a shit ton of muscle and not even a lot of noticeable BF. Its not like you’ve got a big round Santa Claus belly or anything lol
This is a sweet thread and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this thing turns out. I think everyone nitpicks their own physiques. Usually your harshest critique is going to be yourself. Keep it up man
I feel the exact same way. I just try to turn it into a positive thing and try even harder to get to their level, whoever it may be that I’m comparing to.
However, I always get a boost when when I get compared with my friends who don’t lift (or lift, but I’ve surpassed). They call me big, which I’m most definitely not, at least compared to everyone on this site, but I’ll take it, but I’m like you guys do NOT know big lol.
We’re all looking forward to the next 6 months and you dieting down for that comp!

Lol, believe me, the guys I’ve prepped have been very happy. Sure I can’t guarantee a pro card to anyone the first time out (heck, I was surprised when I won my own!), but I can honestly say that you will be satisfied with the end results. I don’t want to derail Akuma’s thread at all, but here’s a pic of one of my guys who competed for the first time this past Spring, and was definitely a FFB. He was one of those naturally big and round dudes, who actually fought me quite a bit every time I told him he’d have to drop lower. On the day of the show, he looked shredded, in fact no one believed it was his first show (until they saw him pose! -lol) but he admitted that he should have listened to me from the get go instead of having so many doubts. It’s typical though. I doubted everything my first show. I still can’t believe how everything came together at the end. Kuma’s got a hell of a lot of size, and I’d be willing to bet that he’s one of those lucky SOB’s who will hold onto muscle really well during a diet. What will he look like on game day? We’ll all have to wait and see, but I guarantee that with as much LBM as he’s got, once we dial him in, he’ll look like a beast.

This is so awesome! Gonna be paying attention to this thread
Good luck Akuma!
Lol Well there goes my attempt at not bringing attention to Stu. Prepare for Spam!!
So yes, im following my Obi Wan’s advice. Working on situating my Carb cycling regiment with my new training split. I plan on starting a diet journal, as i have a book sitting next to me waiting to get filled.
KEEP IT UP BIG MAN!!!
I look forward to hearing about the recomp and the cut.
In all honesty, i truly appreciate the support… im dedicating that upcoming 1st place trophy to you guys =p

I had seen it on Tosh the night before. but the fact you compared me to that putz made me completely ignore your comment. You fail at the funny!
[edit] but seriously punkass, if we ever do meet up for lunch sometime, you’re getting a dead leg for that one =p

Hey Akuma, I never knew you were in a coma, how long did it last?
Any recent pictures such as front double bicep poses, lat spreads, back double biceps and so on like the ones in the begining of this thread?
You look solid in those pictures, shoulders and back especially.
But just one thing, that picture of you in a suit doesn’t really look by any means fat. The way you went on about being fat I assumed you were some obese ball of a lad, but honestly you looked pretty normal to me.
Ahh, noticed one i didnt respond to.
I was in the coma for almost a week.
And trust me, i was a ball of blubber lol. I remember sitting down, and being able to trace rolls around my body. Plus being 220 at like 5’6 freshman yr of highschool means fatass lol
