Suggests drinking from this 64oz or so bottle they give you, of some sort of juice with all these vitamins and what not in it, sugar, carbs, no fat and no protein. It says on the bottle, this will cleanse your body of stuff, yadda yadda, and you can lose up to “10 lbs in 48 hours”.
Shouldn’t this be like ILLEGAL, SEEING AS HOW MOST OF THAT WEIGHT IS PURE MUSCLE DUE TO NO PROTEIN INTAKE?!
Or am I just out of line here…?
I hear Xlax and a diuretic will do the same thing:)
the dumb part is that it is required that on protein products that it says “use as a dietary supplement only, do not use for weight loss”

Most of the weight lost is water. I’m pretty sure it is a diuretic. Fried rice, I’m a little concerned that you’re even looking into this…you need to eat before you fade away.
Oh no, I am eating XD. Just wondering because I was at my local CVS picking up a bottle of Fish tabs and multi’s when I walked by it and there was a big billboard advertising it, so I just stopped to read what new fad diet they came out with now and I just started laughing hysterically, that’s all.
Anyways, they really should put somewhere on these labels you can actually only lose maybe half-pound of fat on this product which costs $18.

Yeah, you’re out of line. You’ll lose very little muscle in 48 hours even without any food. But there’s also no point to the diet. You’ll lose little fat in 48 hours as well. What you will lose is a lot of water weight that will be regained as soon as you start eating again. If someone really wanted to do that, the same thing could be accomplished by dropping carbs for two days, eating very little sodium in those two days, and taking a diueretic. For much cheaper than spending money on their stupid juice.
