Chemical Reaction Diet

Is this a re-marketed “Lose 10 lbs in 3 days” diet that’s been around for 20+ years?

Is that your site yours or something? I mean, that is obviously a sales page… do you really believe anything it says or have a real question?

Umm the description sounds like the type of diet that is advocated often here. Although…I don’t get it. Probably not worth the $ and it’s mostly hype, but some things they say resound.

Not my site. It is a real question. Back in tho 80s, I tried a lose 10 lbs in 3 days diet. The funny thing is … it worked! The next weeks, the loss was 5 lbs, 2 lbs, then nothing.

The diet was kind of weird. Special food combinations too. The thing I remember most was the evening meal - you HAD to eat ice cream (1/2 or 1 cup, I don’ remember), beets, hot-dog saucages (no joke). Some breakfasts were 2 toasts, no butter, but you had to have 30 grams of cottage or mozz cheese.

Really precise stuff, 3 days only. Like I said, it worked. Especially the first time. I never understood what was the science behind it (anti water retention diet ?).

Well did ya piss like a race horse? That would answer the water retention thing…

On the other hand, I really have no damn clue, having never tried it. Maybe you could ask JB or LL.

I hope someone I know still has a copy of it. If so, I’ll post it here.

Saltine crackers?
Diet soda?

yea this looks like a really dumb diet. when will people learn calories in/calories out is what matters.

I believe these diets really work but they can’t be healthy. Plus you will probably gain the weight back. They use these diets as surgery preps mainly a heart operation but I may be wrong.

This stuff is anything but standard or balanced. But it does work too. I don’t think I would lose 10 pounds in 3 days even on a water fast. So… what’s the secret? Why these foods, combinations, and specific proportions? I once read there was such a thing as the negative calorie diet, but this one is a mystery to me.
