The 3rd Law of Muscle

Based on what I read I should mix in 3 scoops with 20 oz of water and start sipping 15-20 mins prior to workout then sip remaining 2/3rds throughout - does that soaund right?
That would be correct for a workout of about 40-45 minutes.

Basically the amount to use is 2 scoops per hour (with 20 ounces water) per hour and with usage beginning 15 minutes or so before training.

So if working out for say 1 hour, then actually in that instance the total consumption time is 1 hr 15 min, so the total use pre and during workout is 2 1/2 scoops, in a total volume of 25 ounces.

Damn you Biotest for keeping this from me for so long! I use two scoops of Surge Workout Fuel 15 min before my workout, and two scoops of Surge Recovery after. I got the idea of eating an orange after my workout from Coach Thib- for decreasing cortisol levels when they shoot up after an hour. But now i don’t need to anymore since you have vit. C in the Surge Workout Fuel. You guys make amazing products, now if only you can make a multi-vitamin.

Felt I needed to update because my post even though it was not negative is I think the most negative post so far.

Well it’s been a couple of weeks and I still am not getting the extra weight on reps and feeling amazing during workouts. But I do have to say that post workout is where I feel it. I feel great after every workout now. First two times must have been a fluke. And am ready to hit it again before the next day comes it seems. I’m sore after workouts but it is definitely less than normal. I actually worked out at my brothers house on Christmas and had no Surge Workout Fuel with me. The workout was actually better which is strange but afterward I was beat! I was beyond sore the day after as well and don’t want to go without the Surge again.

As far as body comp changes…this is where the money is for me. I am seeing serious leaning going on. I haven’t lost any weight but my cuts are getting pretty impressive. I mean every night I’m seeing more and more cuts. If I had to guess I would say I’ve lost 1 percent already. When I started this I was under 10 percent so I’m impressed. The only thing I changed was I started taking the Surge Workout Fuel. And I must have added some muscle which I’m not really noticing but I mean I’ve not lost any weight and like I said I have to have lost a percent or so of fat.

I can’t believe it’s only been two weeks looking at my body comp change.

I’m beyond happy! Will reorder again and again.

And I’ll add a disclaimer for people that might think I sip hard on the Biotest kool aid. I’ve tried other Biotest products like Surge Recovery, 11-T, and so far this product that has truly impressed me.

It makes me want to try Receptormax. Since my body hates being lean and hates carbs even more I’d love to add larger serving sizes of healthy carbs like fruits and brown rice and be able to stay under 10 percent!

Anyhow there is my update…anybody on the fence about this should try it!! I am beyond impressed and it actually sounds like some people are having better results than me!

Mmmmm, would this possibly recommended after cutting water weight? I feel like shit after loosing 10lbs of water weight and then trying to bloat it back on with gatorade. Keep in mind when i cut 10lbs i got 24-48 hours before a match, other times I would have to cut roughly 5lbs for that day, and would only have a 3 to 4 hours max before a bout.
Suggestions?

We recently worked with a world champion boxer who used Surge Workout Fuel, and FINiBAR, for this very purpose prior to his title defense.

With your schedule, I recommend 2 scoops of Surge Workout Fuel per hour, and 1 FINiBAR every 90 to 120 minutes, until your match.

You should experience a dramatic performance improvement with this protocol.

Please let us know how it works for you.
I am going to try this this weekend I am currently cutting weight for a fight this Saturday. Do you recommend only consuming these two items over the 24 hr period or only for the first say 8 hours and/or mixing other food in with the FINiBARs and Surge Workout Fuel?

Also what do you suggest in regards to using Surge Workout Fuel for the fight. I can only consume it before the fight. Water is only permitted once I get in the cage.

Yesterday was my first time taking it during a workout. I felt pretty damn good! I felt like I was recovering much quicker after my sets and wanted to keep going after my workout. It was a full body workout, but felt like a piece of cake!I’m a bit sore today, especially my chest, but I attribute that to not really hitting the bench at all lately.

First off, I’ve been a member to this site since 2002, but obviously haven’t posted much at all over the past few years, but I have been lurking. I am a World Champion in another ‘hobby’ so I am a very competitive, driven and smart person. So, I’m not your average dumba$$ who ‘feels’ every placebo thrown at him.

I am compelled to say that Surge Workout fuel is bar-none the absolute best supplement I’ve ever used !!.. I tried it for the first time yesterday, and my workout was freaking unbelieveable !!!.. I was totally blown away !! Me Being a bodybuilding product of the 80’s-90’s, with sh!t supplements always around like HOT-ROX, HMB, Boron etc. I’ve grown quite skepitcal of ANY new product.

I mixed and drank per directions. I was automatically able to add at least 2 reps to anything i did. The weight just kept moving ! no burning, no fatigue, the muscles just stopped when they could not take any more. I didn’t stop the set due to burning, or out of energy. I hope that made sence ! It was amazing to actually feel a supplement was working in such a profound way right off the bat.

If you are a puss, and don’t push yourself, you probably shouldn’t be on this site, much less, spend money on this supplement. Simply put, the rest of you need to get it and use it properly.

I work out first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I usually have a protein shake 20 minutes before starting the workout. My goal is to increase LBM while also increasing strength. Is it okay to still drink the protein shake 20 minutes before working out and then consume my Surge Workout Fuel at the start of my workout? Or should I perhaps consume the protein drink 30-40 minutes before the start of the workout?
.
Just picked up some and had the same question. Usually have lunch at 130pm, protein shake with additional 5g L-Leucine added at 430pm, then workout at 5pm. If I am to start sipping 15 minutes prior (4:45pm) should I skip the protein shake or just have earlier? How much earlier would you recommend?.

This product really is the shit! (I mean that in a good way…)

My needs for supplements revolve around 2 basic areas:

 1. health (Superfood, ReceptorMax, Rez-V, Metabolic Drive, Surge)

 2. added energy before workouts (Spike Shotgun or HOT-ROX + Caffeine-Free Spike)

Even though I balked at first because of the price, I found other areas to cut back so I can afford this product.

5*

Used this stuff now 5 times. It’s still as fantastic as the first time using it. The only bad thing, is training one evening, i was pressed for time, and didn’t get a great workout in (but better than nothing, right ?) and probably wasted that one use of this supplement. Since it was in the evening, I had a hell of a time trying to get to sleep 4 hours later. I don’t know if it was from the Surge Recovery or what. I have to do legs tonight, and I’m going to do my damndest to make it the hardest ever, and see what happens.

There ought to be a membership or somehting to where Biotest just sends you a shipment and charges your credit card once a month so you don’t need to ever worry about forgetting to order before it’s too late.

About thru my first container, and I can’t imagine working out without it. I’m 38 and feels like I’m 20 again working out. Stuff is pretty amazing !!.. Going to order 2 more the first of the week.

I’ve decided to leave another post on this thread although it’s probably not necessary.

I have just finished off my first container and have purchased 2 more. I know after reading so many positive comments that it can’t just be me. This stuff rocks the Casba!

I could train without it but it would seem useless. I’ve tried to track the numbers from one session to the next to give a concise percentage to the increase in the quality of my training, but I don’t think that would tell the whole story.

This stuff appears to have somewhat of a cumulative effect, with my abilities growing with each training session rather than me building a tolerance and stagnating. This could be as a result of better overall recovery thanks to the targeted nutrients and their timing, or the fact that I am less inhibited and worried about overtraining, and more confident pushing myself even harder.

Either way the last few weeks have been a blast training wise. Thanks Biotest! Keep it comin.

Haven?t posted on the forums in a long while, but after two weeks using SWF I felt I had to. Just saying that this stuff is the shit doesn?t do it justice.

I?m currently doing a re-comp in preparation for me and the wife heading to the Arnold Expo in March. Training is M-F, covering the entire body in a 3-way split M/W/F. Tuesday and Thursday are for energy systems work (complexes, DB snatch test, etc.) Food intake is currently at 2500-2600 kcal per day, which is about 500 kcal below maintenance. Supps are as follows:

Creatine (5g per day)
Beta-7 (2g per day maintenance)
SWF (2 scoops per day on training days only)

I just finished Week 2, and I?m totally blown away. I?ve only lost about 1.5lb of scale weight but I?ve lost about 1/2in from my waist, and my upper abs have tightened considerably. This shocked me since I usually don?t see any body comp changes until at least Week 3 or 4 of a given cycle.

But it?s the increase in my work capacity that is really crazy. I didn?t notice it so much during Week 1 as I did this past week. My overall goal was to add a set here and there over the course of 8 weeks to gradually increase my total volume. However, I?ve already added at least 2-3 sets per workout and still have plenty left in the tank. I?ve had to force myself to stop training simply out of concern that I?m going to hurt myself. Even after 6x6 of The Bear, all I needed was a short rest and I was off and running for another 20 min.

Normally, The Bear puts me down for the count. And that?s just one example. Interestingly, I?ve noticed that there is one set, usually halfway through my 2nd exercise, when everything is twice as easy as the previous sets. After that, I?m just along for the ride. Once this shit kicks in, there?s no doubt. No stimulant-like effects at all. It?s totally different. The rest of the workout just becomes a joke.

Some tips for those of you who haven?t been taking SWF for long. I?ve noticed I get a much better training effect if I drink about 1/2 of the 20oz at the beginning of my workout (starting to sip about 15 min prior to my warmup). Just sipping throughout the workout like you would Surge Recovery doesn?t cut it. You need to get this stuff in your system early. I?m to the point now where I finish the entire 20oz with about 2 sets left as opposed to having a few sips left at the end.

What has been posted previously is right on the mark. If you don?t plan on long, balls-to-the-wall training sessions, SWF is not for you. It?s effects will just be wasted. I had to increase my total training volume by about 20% before I really noticed the difference. And screw this ?damn that shit?s expensive? crap. One can of SWF will last me 3 weeks at my current usage. For the price and the results, that?s fuckin? cheap. Way to go Biotest! I love it.

I’ve noticed that too, soreness is not an issue anymore, and I’m 38 and tend to stay sore longer than in my 20’s.

Has anyone continued their use of Beta-7 while using SWOF? I’ve never used Beta-7 before, but have a bottle and was wondering if it would be worth using now, or better off for a time when I am out of SWOF.

Thanks

You’ll see a greater effect when using Beta-7 in conjunction with Surge Workout Fuel.

How much of a difference will vary from person to person, but for me it’s definitely noticeable.

If you’re new to both products, I recommend just starting with one, however.

On the other hand, if you’re already experienced with Surge Workout Fuel, it’s worthwhile to add Beta-7 to your supplement routine.

I was on Beta-7 for about 3 months before I started by current cycle (5-6g per day). I read on the forums that 3g is a good maintenance dose once you’ve been taking it a while. Once I started taking Surge Workout Fuel, I lowered Beta-7 intake to 2g per day (breakfast and lunch) and let Surge Workout Fuel take care of the other gram. With this lower dose, I haven’t noticed any decrease in the training effect from taking 5-6g per day.

And I have to 2nd the previous posts regarding soreness. I’m 38yrs old and kicked the shit out of myself yesterday (chest and back). Today, a little tightness in my chest but no soreness to speak of. And that is after decreasing rest periods and increasing volume – again. Not long ago, that workout would have completely debilitated me for the rest of the week.

Just came back from my first workout with this stuff - there is no doubt in my mind that this stuff really works. Jumped up in weight and unbelievably fast recoveries between sets.

One question: I use a Sigg water bottle - since it has a narrow mouth, it’s a pain in the ass to clean. Presumably, this stuff needs to be cleaned out after each use or it will go bad right?

Thanks Biotest!

Well, if you put it in the refrigerator immediately afterwards the remainder would not have gone bad by the next day. However generally speaking, yes, drinking containers should be washed after each use. Therefore a wide-mouth container is much more practical.

Thanks Bill!

Three interesting things I’ve noticed.

 1. I seem to be less thirsty round the clock - like it’s providing amazing hydration that lasts - it’s hugely noticeable. I wonder if I’ve been low on electrolytes?

 2. I’ve been noticing a pronounced nootropic effect from this stuff - perhaps it’s the intensity of the workout, but I’m not sure if that explains my level of focus even hours after the workout.

 3. During my sprinting workouts, I can normally judge where I am in my cycle by how elevated my heart beat is - when it’s really thumping against my ribcage, I know I’m nearing limits. However, I’ve had two sprinting workouts on Surge and my heart rate doesn’t get nearly as high. In fact, I hardly notice it at all. Bizarre.
