thib, the paragrapth on the side of the article saying your hockey player gained 11 pounds of lean body mass, what Surge workout fuel protocol was used exactly for that player?

1 serving of Workout Fuel per session (1/2 right before, 1/2 throughout)

1 to 2 servings of Surge Recovery post-workout: 1 servings after small workouts (arms), 1 1/2 servings after the main upper body workout (torso), 2 servings after the lower body workouts

30g of BCAAs pre-training
thanks Thib, did you have him take any around game or practice time?

Chris,

Maybe you should head back to the Crossfit facility with a little Surge Workout Fuel pre-mixed in your shaker?

When I was writing that article, “The Truth About CrossFit,” I did have one scoop of Surge Workout Fuel before my morning CrossFit session. That evening, for my second CrossFit workout at a different facility, I had a FINiBAR. In the last session, we started with 5 people and ended with 3. I was flying through it. I have to think the FUEL and FINiBAR helped.

Those two supplements, Surge Workout Fuel and FINiBAR, are actually ideal for CrossFitters, especially for the CrossFit Games, though that crowd seems to be kinda anti-supplement. Too bad for them.

This looks very nice. Question: I’m a little tight as far as budget goes, would I see better results using this primarily for my weight training sessions or for my car push/pulls or hill sprint sessions? (all workouts last about an hour and are very high intensity)

Is this something that needs a few weeks to feel the effects? Or on the first serving will I be feeling the “I can keep going” effect?

From what we’ve heard from the Physique clinic participants and others, you can tell on the first serving. Like REALLY REALLY tell.

Is this product recommended for women? If so, is it recommended for women with goals of fat loss and muscle gain?

Would the serving be altered for women? One scoop with 10 oz of water sipped throughout your workout, followed by Surge Recovery for post workout?

Thank you.
Kimm, I’m using Surge Workout Fuel for both my training days and the days I run 6-8 miles. I mix 2 scoops and start drinking it as I walk out the door, and sip on it during the workout or run. I then drink my Surge Recovery afterwards.
This plan has worked great for me, and makes the long runs seem super easy.

Fuck yeah, being a 50 yr old that works his ass off, this is just the thing I needed. My bonus comes 12/9 and I plan on ordering 4. Please do not run out or I might have to whup some ass!

You may notice a difference during your first training session with Surge Workout Fuel, but it’s true effects are seen with consistent use.

Go with whichever workouts are the most grueling and difficult to complete.

The harder you train, the more you’ll get from Surge Workout Fuel.

Man, ideally, I’d say both.

I get straight-up pissed off if I forget to grab my shaker bottle of SURGE Workout Fuel before my any of my training sessions.

But, if I absolutely had to choose, I’d suggest using it for the weight training sessions. The reason I say this is because it’s probably the “majority” of your programming. If you lift weights three to five days per week and do heavy, hard energy system work only once or twice a week, I bet you’d want it for your “main” days.

If price is an issue, go with SURGE Recovery during your hill sprints and such and save the SURGE Workout Fuel for when you’re killing yourself in the gym.

I started taking SURGE Workout Fuel a couple of months ago and felt the effects the day after my first training session.

Which means, I didn’t feel anything at all.

No soreness. No “Oh-my-God-I-can’t-walk-up-the-stairs” moaning. In fact, I felt energized.

And I didn’t have a fluffy training session either. I did heavy singles on deadlifts, pistol squats, glute-ham raises, and jumping lunges. Ordinarily, I would have awakened the next morning, slithered out of my bed and cursed vehemently.

Not the case this time.

And since I’ve used SURGE Workout Fuel every training day, I haven’t found those initial effects to diminish at all.

I think I’m starting to piss off my training partners…

MUHAHHAHAAHAHAH! Just want I was looking for. Not a crazy stimulant concoction in a tub with some lemon flavoring added but something to truly fuel each session so they keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to try it.

My one question is what to expect when going off it.

Being the price it is; if I were to buy a tub or two, what would I expect once it is gone?

Will strength, endurance and/or stamina diminish?

Yes, Ideally i’d stay on this forever until I die…but being honest with myself and my bank account; it’s not in the foreseeable future.

I don’t wanna get it, see awesome gains, run out, and turn back down a notch or two; yaknow?
Like any ergogenic aid, you’ll only receive a benefit from Surge Workout Fuel as long as you use it.

Whether you maintain the improved conditioning and body composition you attain while using it is obviously dependent on your training and diet.

I didn’t get paid I just got the stuff for free and like my quote said, I will never train without it again. PERIOD.

Marketing or not, this product is the best thing I have ever tried in my life. You don’t believe me? Train for an endurance even like a triathlon or marathon and use this product. Then train for a second race and don’t use it and then try and tell me it doesn’t work.

Hey, I was wondering if this would help for a competitive Olympic Lifter.

We dont do many “endurance” excercises per se bu our workouts are usually around 2-3 hrs long with alot of heavy weight being thrown around

It has been shipped. Muhahahaha.

I was thinking earlier what program I’m gonna run on it and wondered if it would just be a placebo thinking man I can train so much harder. So I just made it much harder than what I normally do and we will see what happens.

I usually train in the evenings, usually for about an hour, with a start time in the 6pm to 7pm range.

I TRY to get to bed by 10 or 11pm (though earlier would be better).

I obviously try to avoid caffeine late in the day (and see there is no caffeine in SURGE Workout Fuel) but how long does the increased energy generally last? Is it likely to keep me up?

I plan on placing an order either way to do some trial/error, but thought I’d throw the question out there to those that have (or are) using it.

Thanks!

I can’t answer this for sure, but if 2 to 3 hours of ANYTHING isn’t endurance…I don’t know what is

So I’d guess…yes…this will help ya.

SURGE Workout Fuel is for anyone who trains balls-to-the-wall; it’s for anyone who “earns” it by putting their bodies through hardcore training.

So whether it’s endurance or weightlifting, SURGE Workout Fuel is key.

We recommend that our top-level athletes use the following protocol:

Two servings prior to training
Two servings during
Two servings afterward.

However, if cost is an issue, we recommend skipping the last two-dose serving.

And I recommend skipping it altogether if you just “work out.” This is for people who train. And after reading about your 2-3 hour long sessions, it looks like you train hard.
