The 3rd Law of Muscle

This last week I gave Surge Workout Fuel a go during my workouts and let me tell you its 100% legit. I followed the directions and consumed it 15 min prior to lifting and during my workouts (1 serving). I read many suggetions in Thibs periworkout forum for ideas because I would like to incorporate Surge Recovery as well. Have you guess had any success with a certain protocol using Surge Workout Fuel and Surge Recovery? Please offer any suggestions. I thought about 2 scoops Surge Workout Fuel before and during workout and 2 scoops Surge Recovery after workout.

I also read that Surge Recovery will induce an insulin spike during workout when consumed prior to lifting. So I thought maybe
-30 min 2 scoops Surge Workout Fuel
-15 min-1st half of WO 1 scoop Surge Recovery
2nd half WO- 1 scoop Surge Recovery
+60 2scoop Grow! Whey + 1 cup oatmeal

Once again im just looking to use both Surge Workout Fuel and Surge Recovery effectiently so any suggested protocols will be benificial thanks.

When utilizing these products I prefer to consume Surge Workout Fuel prior to training and have Surge Recovery during my workout. Then consume Grow! Whey immediately after training.

Thx again. Would my protocol with the Surge Workout Fuel 30 min before and Surge Recovery during ? I saw Thibs also recommended whey hydroslate with Surge Recovery during workout. Does Biotest have a whey hydrosolate? I thought about ON Gold standard whet, but that contains both whet hydrosolate and whet isolate. And would Grow! Whey be best to consume right after I finish my Surge Recovery or best to wait 45-60 min with carnal as my P+C meal??. Thx again Mod Brian

Biotest MAG-10 Anabolic Pulse is preferred to standard whey hydrolysate during training.

Grow! Whey is great post-workout. When having carbohydrates before and during training, I recommend consuming Grow! Whey as soon as you finish training and follow with a solid meal 30 to 60 minutes later.

I’m pretty sure you have some other questions in your post, but I can’t determine what you’re asking.

This is very similar to what I did for a long time, with very good results. The only difference was that I used recovery a little before my workout, and about half-way through my workout I would finish off the rest.

As for your questions in another post, I think you were asking about whey hydrolysate. I think whey hydrolysate is in surge recovery. With two scoops your getting somewhere around 25-30 grams of it, you can check the labels to make sure though.

Like ModBrian mentioned, MAG-10 has casein hydrolysate which is now the peri-workout protein of choice. I personally really like MAG-10 and have incorporated it in. I use 2 scoops of MAG-10 and 2 scoops of swf mixed together. And then I will have 1-2 scoops of recovery in a separate cup.

I usually do:
-10 1/3 - 1/2 of swf/Mag-10
0 1/2 recovery
1/2 through the rest of recovery
sip rest of swf/Mag-10 through workout

Nothing is too exact, some days I use recovery, some days I don’t. I also use slightly different amounts of water on different days for the swf/Mag-10 mix, so it’s not like I drink x amount of ml’s pre and post.

My schedule is crazy so I have to adjust for it. Some days I get to go in and go crazy for two hours, so I benefit from the extra fluid and calories of recovery. Some days I know I have to go lighter and faster so I don’t have the time and don’t like to be too full with fluid so I skip the recovery and use less water in the swf/Mag-10.

The best thing you can do is try a few things out and see what works best for you.

Roughly how much Beta Alanine and Leucine is in Surge Workout Fuel, individually? The label just shows 13 g for the entire MAG-10 amplifier group of supplements including BA, Leucine, and the Citruline malate.

The breakdown of these ingredients has not been publicly disclosed.

Can I throw out the bags of moisture sucker things like you get in shoe boxes? Or will the Surge Workout Fuel just clump up like the brick at the bottom of my bottle of AJax? (my house isn’t super humid, but sort of I guess.)

They are always in my way when I scoop out, and I have ape hands so it gets ultra annoying.

As long as you’re using the product consistently, and don’t plan to store it, removing the desiccant packs shouldn’t be a problem.

Just be sure to securely tighten the closure after each use to minimize exposure to moisture.

I have just begun doing timed hill sprints. The first workouts have been fueled with only water, adding one extra sprint per workout. My last workout had me doing eight sprints and feeling extremely nauseous, borderline vomiting, and tunnel vision. So to test the effects of Surge Workout Fuel on this type of workout, I drank one scoop fifteen minutes before and sipped one scoop in between the sprints.

I did FOURTEEN SPRINTS up this hill and felt GREAT when I was done. WTF!!! EIGHT sprints had my teeth aching, on the edge of puking without Surge Workout Fuel. Now I can do 14 and feel great.

Now I am talking, 100% effort up the hill with no decrease in each respective time. I am thoroughly impressed with this product and am excited to see the changes in body composition that will follow in the coming weeks.

I will report back in the coming weeks to document any progress made with the aid of this product. Probably will be rapid.

Highlights from “FUELED” workout. I hit a new max on bench, 305 lbs. Worked up to 400lbs on deadlift and then dropped down for six reps with 350, etc… Left for the park to do my hill sprints. Yesterday, as seen in previous post, did 14 sprints, a dramatic increase from a nausea riddled previous 8. Today, I did 16 sprints with no decrease in performance in consecutive sprints.

Placebo?

No fucking chance. I fucking hate cardio, but these workouts were easy. I can certainly see why many people love this stuff.

I had my first dose of Surge Workout Fuel a couple of hours ago (the first Biotest product I’ve tried, sadly ordered from Biotest UK and not directly from you guys) and I have to say I was blown away.

I had it with PeptoPro, creatine and some amino-acids, following the timing and approximate dosing of ANACONDA Protocol 2. Surge Workout Fuel replaced WMS+palatinose+dextrose+BA+citrulline+leucine (so, again, a home made knock-off version, though without rice oligodextrin), so on the surface the change wasn’t that big.

The results, however, proved that the devil is in the details - I was more explosive than ever on all exercises, in spite of increasing the weight compared to last week, and at the end I was still full of energy. I feel like my recovery in the first hour after the workout was also much faster than usual.

Also, I love the liquid flavouring (berry), in fact I’m having it in some water now!

B.

I am always skeptical of any product. Even though I am a fan of Biotest products I just didn’t think it was worth buying. So anyway, I decide to try it and I must say my workouts have been off the charts. At first I thought maybe it was just me convincing myself it was working but the change has been sustained now for three weeks with gains coming faster than normal. The increase is noticeable. I am able to keep up the intensity for a longer period of time instead of starting to fade towards the end of my workout.

I also notice that I am able to push individual sets much farther. I feel like I get a 2nd burst of energy when normally I would start to weaken and stop the set. I am still going to monitor my progress but I am surprised how much my workouts improved. I completely expected to think it was a waste of money and never buy it again but if this keeps up this will definitely be a new stable of my nutrition. This morning I was surprised how much my stength has gone up in the last few weeks.

I took the summer off and I’ve been back to hitting the weights full time for about 5-6 weeks now. I packed 2 sccops Surge Workout Fuel, 1 scoop MAG-10, and some creatine to school for leg day today. I pounded it down 45 min before and had the best day of lifting within those 5-6. I have Anaconda but don’t use it b/c something about it doesn’t sit well with my stomache. Surge Workout Fuel is OK, but anything else I’m hurling half way through my session. I drink Surge Recovery pwo, love the stuff.

I can’t say how happy I was to be able to keep it down. Surge Workout Fuel helps a lot, I was reminded how much today. Being able to hold it down along with a serving of MAG-10 will pay off huge. I found my new protocol, I go

-60 Alpha GPC
-45 mix 2 servings Surge workout fuel, 1 scoop MAG-10, and 10gs creatine.
-40 drink half
-30 drink rest
-0 workout
+10 mix 2 scoops Surge Recovery, 5gs creatine. Drink
+60 52gs whey iso
+120 feast

I know this is pretty basic but it’s a huge step for me. Like I said, I have Anaconda I give to people I workout with who love it. I don’t know what it is for me, anyway this is bombay and the Surge workout fuel and MAG-10 is from the care package Tim sent me a ways back.

I can’t thank you enough b/c I’m puting it to excellent use and timing could not have been any better. I’m a month out before I need more Surge products, I hope to get som Metabolic Drive bars.

I’ve been mixing 3 scoops SWF and drinking it starting 15 minutes prior to my workout during workout. Then I’ll have Grow! Whey post workout. From what I’m reading here, would it be better to consume the SWF (say 2 scoops) prior to workout and sip Surge Recovery during the workout?

Sorry for the repeated posts guys. I was having some technical difficulties lol.

I’m 15 years old and the warnings say that I shouldn’t take it unless I am 18 or older… I have been training for about 3 years and already take SURGE post-workout, should I just go and order or wait until I’m 18?

Hello,

After reading this entire thread, it seems obvious that Surge Workout Fuel is a great product. But I cannot choose between Surge Workout Fuel, ANACONDA and MAG-10.

My typical workouts are short and look something like this (3 times a week): Mon - dips, barbell seated shoulder presses, barbell standing curls, barbel upright rows, BOSU crunches, planks. Wend - pull-ups, chin-ups, pushups, barbell pullovers, BOSU crunches, planks. Friday - same as Monday (might include barbell bent-over rows and deadlifts). I do not do cardio.

I follow a low-carb diet, I am pretty lean (9.5 percent body), but my current goal is to gain muscle without increasing my body fat by much. Since I am a former fat boy, I am wary of carbs. I only consume carbs from leafy greens and fiber-rich vegetables, but I guess the carbs consumed during the workout (from either of the three mentioned supplements) are not going to be stored as fat, or is my workout not intense enough to burn them off?

So, given my workout and my goals, which supplement would be the best overall fit for me, Surge Workout Fuel, ANACONDA or MAG-10? Also, I currently take Alpha-GPC, BCAA, BETA-7, Creatine, Power Drive, and Receptormax. Can they be stacked with, say, Surge Workout Fuel or would there be a conflict and redundancy?

Thanks.

Just to clarify a few things, I am not a professional athlete or a bodybuilder. My goal is simply to gain as much muscle mass as possible while minimizing the fat gain. The majority of my caloric intake comes from protein, healthy fats and only a minimum amount of carbs (around 50 grams a day) from veggies and spinach. I do not consume any fruits.

Saturday and Sunday are my cheat days during which I pretty much eat what I want, but within reason. On those days I do consume a lot more carbs from bread and sweets, but for the rest of the week I follow a very strict diet and keep carbs under a tight control. I am not afraid of extra calories that are necessary to support muscle growth, but I have to say that as a former fat boy, I am afraid of carbs.

My workouts last for about 1 hour including a 10-minute warm-up. I take 5 minutes rest intervals between each exercise and about 2 minutes rest between each set. I do not do cardio.

As I have already mentioned, my goal is to gain as much lean muscle mass as possible, but I am having a hard time deciding which of the three supplements (Surge Workout Fuel, ANACONDA or MAG-10) is the best fit for my diet and workout. I can only afford one of three.

Also, whatever supplement is the answer, let’s say, ANACONDA, how should I take it given my diet and workout and since I already take Alpha-GPC, BCAA, BETA-7, Creatine, Power Drive, and Receptormax pre-workout, I am wondering if it is an overkill and what is the correct way to stack it with, say, ANACONDA, or any other of the three supplements.

P.S. I hope Mod Brian or someone who knows these supplements well will answer. I would like to place the order today.

Thanks.

Take a swig of Anaconda 30 minutes or so before you start lifting (same time as Receptormax should be fine), then keep sipping on it through your workout.
