Lifted for the first time with the new Surge Workout Fuel. I pulled a deadlift PR; 365 for 4 reps. My previous was 355 for 2 reps.
Amazing stuff. I can’t wait for leg day today!

Which is better alternative for recovery ANACONDA or Surge Recovery?

Thanks Greggio,
So if im going Surge Workout Fuel 2 scoops 30 min prior to wrkout then one scoop Surge Recovery 10-15 prior to wrkout 1 scoop sipped during, where does the ANACONDA come in?
[/quote]
I use two scoops of Surge Recovery before and Anaconda during. Usually I drink about 2/3 maybe 3/4 of the 2 scoop recovery before and save the rest for about 1/2 through my workout. I will sip 1 scoop of each Anaconda and MAG-10 during the workout and then drink the rest of the Surge Recovery (usually just a few sips) at about the halfway point.
I like to get most of the carbs in pre-workout. I have had good success with it. I also like sipping Anaconda/MAG-10 during. There are days when I don’t finish my Anaconda during so I just keep sipping it after the workout.
If you drink recovery during the workout I don’t see why you couldn’t have Anaconda after your workout. I don’t think it will make that big of a difference in the grand scheme of things. I doubt your recovery will suffer because you had it post workout as opposed to during.
got my Surge Workout Fuel today will report back tomorrow!
Tried the berry flavoring last night and really liked it. I was surprised because this is my least favorite when using it with Anaconda and MAG-10. I used an incredibly small amount though, seriously it was only a few drops. Tasted good though, it may actually be my favorite for SWF.
Greggio,
Do you remember the protocol with just the two Surge’s and Anaconda??? I say this cause i just have a can of Anaconda at the moment don’t have the MAG-10…I believe it was 2 scoops Anaconda throughout the workout ya?
I don’t remember exactly. I personally have never used only Anaconda or only MAG-10, it has always been a combination. But, Anaconda is basically MAG-10 with extra goodies in it so when you have two scoops you are getting the same as one of each, but with the extra that comes in Anaconda.
Thanks G,
I appreciate the feed.
First workout with the new Surge Workout Fuel today. I kicked ass in the gym, PR’d on all my major lifts, and generally just felt powerful and ready to go. Loved the new flavoring and loved the new formula even more. I used the last of my old formula on Monday, so I have a reasonably solid basis of comparison and I definitely feel that this is way more powerful. Obviously could be many other factors involved; regardless, I’m extremely happy with this product.
I also just ordered some Alpha-GPC. If that’s as good as advertised (and I have no reason to believe it won’t be), I can’t even talk about how much ass I’m going to kick when combining the two. Biotest, you rock.
Is it just me but i really like the new formula…but I feel less the beta-alanine tingling…is it possible that there is less BA?..thanks
Brandon… here’s what Chad has to say about that…
â?¢ You want to gain some serious muscle, fast? Simple. It starts with a half-serving of SURGE Workout Fuel 10 minutes before training. Then you’ll do a heavy, full-body workout with 25 total reps per exercise while sipping the other half of the drink. Immediately after the workout drink one serving of Anaconda, followed by another serving 30 minutes later. Finally, take a 30-minute nap. I’ve seen nothing come close to that protocol.

Brian mentioned that it would be a mistake to assume there was less BA or CM.
I never really felt the BA that much myself with the old version so I am probably not the best to judge though.
I usually hit my work gym right after I get out around 5pm. A lot of times, I’m mentally drained and physically tired by then (It’s an office job, but the body is still tired for some reason). Is Surge Workout Fuel something that will help in this situation? I’ve tried Spike, but it didn’t agree with me…
I just took my first test run of the new workout fuel. I used 4 scoops in 40oz of water with the orange and I have to say the taste is WAY better than the previous version. I actually wanted more. Also, I used to feel a little sick sometimes when I took the old one but I was fine with this.
I used it for a BJJ workout and I did seem to have more endurance, I’m guessing the performance benefits will be more noticeable with tougher workouts. Anyway, I’m glad they improved the flavor so much. It is really great
Here’s my review: I never tried the old workout fuel, but this one is amazing. I took 2 scoops 30 minutes before and Surge recovery about 15 before through the end of my workout. I used the grape flavoring WOF(it was like the purple gatorade, so good) and original flavor Recovery. I had a significant strength increase, but where I really noticed the effect was my high rep work. I just didn’t run out of energy. I’m a high school basketball player and people say supplements are unnecessary, but the price is not bad at all. If you can’t afford the full protocol, just buy the 2 Surges. You won’t be disappointed. They were the 2 best tasting supplements I’ve ever had. I also was not as sore as usual the next day. THANK YOU Biotest, I’m sure I will continue to purchase from you.
Thanks Efuchs,
I remember that one in the pages.

I just bought all this stuff and what it included was 2 cases of spike shooters and I got SWF too. I’m doing fat loss so at most I get 75 grams a day. SWF has 62 of those which before I was using Surge Recovery which had 49. God bless the refeed day when I get to use both but I too primarily have an office job and workout after five just like you and i can say that the SWF makes a huge difference in the fatloss work and the capacity at which I recover and perform. I too also have to be careful with the spike. Right now I’m drinking about half which is only four ounces… but I tend to be what I call hyper sensitive. I’m always amped and nervous/excited to work out so I must be careful with how much fuel I add to my own fire. I’ll have Whey protein immediately after the workout and also creatine before and after along with some BCAA’s before which may be excess with SWF.
Hey try one bottle and see for yourself. I don’t think the body ever gets tired from this work it’s not like digging ditches but there is a mental barrier that we must rough through.
I’m a small dude at the moment (5’10, 170lb) and a single scoop in 20oz. does the trick.
I only recently started adding peri-workout supplementation (used to just eat a small carb meal before workout and sip on water) and it’s a very strange feeling. I can definitely lift more (especially volume wise), but the tingle from Surge Workout Fuel makes me feel sleepy.
Oh, and I happen to have an old dropper bottle and I use the dropper to add the liquid flavoring. Half a milliliter is great in 20oz. A full cap is overkill.
So the instructions say not to use a shaker bottle to mix the SWF in water or the flavoring, whats the reason beind that? Does it mess up the formula? or does it hurt the flavoring? just wanna know because throwing it in a shaker bottle at the gym is way more convenient than having to carry a spoon around to mix it with.

As stated on the bottle, it’s due to the effervescent nature of the formula. In other words, mixing in a bottle/shaker with a non-screw top can result in the top blowing off and Surge Workout Fuel all over your wall and ceiling.
