6 400-meter sprints.
90-105 seconds each; last one 88, which is a lifetime PR, I think.
I want to get back into lifting heavy stuff. I’m going to gauge the fat-loss experiment a success so far; I’ll have to weigh myself, but I’m happy with the way I look.
So: one more week of the circuits, for completeness. Then I go back to real lifting. Once i get back whatever strength I’ve lost, I’m going to start 5/3/1.

good stuff Alisa. one of the best things i’ve read all week. (“I’m happy with the way I look”)
however, i will say you were doing ‘real’ lifting. i know around these parts heavy is better and the continuous pursuit of going heavier is the theme, but some of us just can’t hit those kinds of numbers. i love seeing you all do it tho! ![]()
^^Hear hear! You got a beautiful bod, I’m glad you think so too!
You’ll be back to heavy lifting in no time.
Thanks Deb and Tal!
today I threw heavy stuff around for a change. Good news is I didn’t turn into a weak little kitten.
deads:
5@135, 5@175, 5@205, 5@225, 3@245, 2x1@255 (PR!)
bench:
10@45, 10@65, 5@85, 5@95, 5@105, 2x1@115.
single-legged DB deadlift: 5/8/10 each leg, @30’s.
lat raises: 3x10@17.5
damn! woooot wooot on that PR. looks like you are back to heavy lifting…![]()
WOW!!! =)
fuckin awesome Alisa! PR’s the very day your back in the game. Your body probably enjoyed the break in routine and is ready to work for you again.
Way to go on the deadlift PR! You are so strong, and HOT (just saw your most recent pic in T-Vixen). ![]()
um, yeah! i just popped into T-Vix 6 (i don’t get over there too often) miss Alisa, you are looking fantastic. your back is much more defined and your bum is looking very smackable!
i don’t give a rat’s ass if you haven’t lost anything on the scale, you’ve tightened up fo sho! and now i know why you are happy with the way you look.

Yeah, I just happened upon that forum the other day and was tres impressed by all of your pictures!
Hey mama, I pretty much ran over here cuz I wanted to tell you (without scaring the peeps over in SAMA) that I want your body - as in, I want it attached to my head.
But then I see that your whooping it up on the Dls! Not to mention your bench ain’t too bad either. Fuck yeah!!!
You guys are so sweet.
Masch, I like that careful little clarification.
9 mile run.
Deadlift PR! Nice work.
Pictures don’t lie – there is hotness.
Awesome deadlift PR!! Glad to see youa re back to lifting heavy. Congratulations on your fat loss success as well. I saw your pic too and you are looking fabulous! You upper back is quite impressive. Everything is impressive really, but the lighting in that pic highlights your back nicely. Your ass is always impressive.
yeah so where you been
gonna lift tonight in a few minutes! Geez!
DONT MAKE ME GET THE HOSE
I do work out. I promise.
squats: 10@45, 10@95, 5@115, 5@135, 5@155, 5@165, 3@175, fail@185. Almost up to my previous max.
OHP: 10@45, 10@55, 5@65, 1/3@75, 1@85. Also, almost there.
rows: 5@65, 2x5@85, 5@95, 5@105 (PR!)
lunges with 45lb plate overhead: 10 each leg.
Also: on heavy squats my wrists hurt. (This is not new; it’s always been that way.) These are low bar.
I’m not sure if this means I’m doing something wrong form-wise, if it’s just an “it’s supposed to hurt” situation, or if it’ll get better as my wrists get stronger.
