I think I might have posted this in another thread, but I wish cell phones had a voice annotation feature so that you could just talk into your phone and it will convert it to a text message and send it.
Really? I wish I had a phone that would just send my voice to the person I wanted to communicate with and they could hear it and then respond back in real time. Oh wait…
;D
hahaha…I realized when I wrote that that someone would point that out. ![]()
You know what I mean though. When you’re someone that doesn’t like talking on the phone, but you’re driving and you’d rather send a text, then that would be a good feature to have.
This is the most amazing thing I have ever read.
I’m going to be a huge smartass and quip that you’re still talking on the phone when you’re telling the phone what to type.
Shoot me. Fuck.
Yes, because I clearly can’t talk and drive at the same time.
California says you can’t, but that’s obviously not the case.[/quote]
I can’t wait until they start enforcing that more. In all seriousness, I can’t tell you how many almost accidents I get into on a weekly basis where the person is talking on the phone and not even looking ahead or checking their blind spots.
My friend is a cop and he’s given a few tickets for it so far. They all say they didn’t know about the new law when they are getting their ticket.
Everyone is supposed to be on a headset now, but they aren’t. I do have a headset that I use, but I rarely answer calls when I’m driving. When I’m driving, I just like to convey quick information that is more convenient to send via text like, “I’m on my way.” or “I’ll be there in 10 min.” I don’t need to call someone to tell them stuff like that, but I don’t like texting because I tend to take my eyes off the road too much.
