About three weeks ago, I came to this website for the first time. I was no noob to physical fitness, but most of what I’d done in the past was relegated to bodyweight exercises, yoga, aerobics, etc. that I could do around the house or dorm room. When I did go to the gym, I used machines.
Well, I read some articles around here, and decided to try some different things out. I started to eat like a madman, and now I don’t touch anything but free weights.
Guess what:
My maxes are climbing, and I’ve gone from 175 lbs to knocking on 190 in under three weeks. Needless to say, I’m very happy about this turn of events.
However, I’ve also been experiencing some increased aggression, and I’m wondering if this is normal.

What the hell?? No it’s not normal you moron! I hate stupid questions like this!! Just makes me want to start ripping off peopls arms and beating their limbless bodies with them!!!
Dude its very normal. When I started lifting hard, my aggression went through the roof. and it feels great.
Some of it has to do to you gaining confidence, knowing your stronger than the majority of people in a room and also the fact that lifting heavy actually increases Testosterone production.
Hopefully you’ve encountered the increased libido as well. Or the return to 16 as I like to call it.
Congrats on your gains. This site did the same thing for me as well. One heck of a motivator when you come across such and extensive amount of motivation. My gains were 12 lbs in 4 weeks. Another 15 to go and then I will have reached my goal… for now that is.
See Ya
Stick with it man, that’s the most important thing. I was an on and off lifter for many years, then when I started reading T-Nation about 2 years ago I really started to change my attitude and this site has helped motivate me to stay in the weightroom. Now, I’ve gotten to the point where I couldn’t not lift. It’s become a big and important part of my life.
