Testosterone/Libido Boost

I’ve been experimenting with a supplement combination that I think some of the over 30 crowd here might like. It’s for test/libido boost and also helps with ED. You may even get a bit of the “Peter North” effect that some on this board seem to chase after. Within the first week you’ll notice a big difference. Anyway here it is.

2 TRIBEX Gold
3 Rez-V
1 Zinc/Copper cap (Solaray brand 50mg zinc/2mg copper/53mcg Iodine(as Kelp)
Maca 1-2 caps (450mg each)
Choline 1-2 caps or CDP Choline (Vitamin Shoppe brand 310mg each)
ActivaTe (Urtica Diocia by Designer Supplements)

I take this combo twice a day, except for the ActivaTe, which you take 1 caplet 4x a day evenly spaced. And the Rez-V caps are only taken once in the morning. You could probably substitute Alpha Male for the TRIBEX. I haven’t done this so I cannot say how well that would work. Of course before trying this stack, please be mindful of any prescription drugs you may be taking as I cannot say how all of this will react with prescription drugs.

As for what all of these variosu things do, well TRIBEX boosts test. Rez-V also boosts test and blocks estrogen. Maca is a “sexual stimulant” which helps get you in the mood, and is also good for semen quality/volume. Choline is great for mental clarity, but suprisingly it is also great for maintaining erections, or if you have a problem in that area, getting an erection.

Zinc/copper supports test levels as well as immune function, and the extra iodine in the formula will help stimulte the thyroid a bit. The ActivaTe, lowers SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) which binds your testosterone. By lowering SHBG a bit the theory is you’ll have more Free Testosterone in your system. Be aware however that this may also allow for a bit more estrogen and/or DHT, so it’s imperitive to have the Rez-V in there to block the effects of any estrogen.

None of this is groundbreaking by any means, but just something that I’ve found to work well so I though I’d share. Hope it helps some of you.

Blood work results before and after or are these emotional observations?

No bloodwork to back this up. Basically I was experimenting with supplement combinations based off of research that I’ve done. The only thing I can offer as evidence to the effectiveness of this is that I went through 40 weeks of testosteone therapy which I finished about 3 months ago.

Since utilizing this combination of supplements I feel the same as I did while on the test therapy. I did have a blood test done upon completing my test therapy roughly 3 months ago. I do have a script to get a follow up test at the end of this month to see how well the levels are maintaing, so I will report back once I get those results.

This stack is more for a mild test boost/sexual arousal function. Try it and see if you notice a difference.

How much is the monthly cost for all that stuff…along with other supplementation I would expect the price tag to be heavy on a monthly basis.

oneshot

You can get the price for the Rez-V & TRIBEX at the store here at the Biotest site. The Choline, Maca, Zinc Complex and L-Carnitine (optional) you can get at the Vitamin Shoppe pretty cheap if you buy their brand.
The ActivaTe, which you can chose to use or not, I started without it and added it later, costs about 25-30 for 180 pills. You may find it cheaper online.
It’s not a majorly expensive stack, but then again expensive is different for differrent people. I suppose you could substitute Vitamin Shoppe Tribulus for TRIBEX to save some money, but the cost probably wouldn’t be much different, and TRIBEX is a better product.

I’ve got an even better, cheaper, healthier solution. Increase your dietary fat intake. Eggs are great. Doubled my test levels, multiple blood tests, without even trying.

All that junk you listed…way to expensive…cost of a dozen eggs? Around a buck in most areas.

You might want to take a look at a book I saw last weekend called “The Hardness Factor : How to Achieve Your Best Health and Sexual Fitness at Any Age” by a physician named Dr.Steven Lamm.

Basically a fitness program w supplements – he recommends supplemented w L-Arginine, an anti-oxident I can’t remember the name of right now, and horny goat weed/maca. Makes a pretty convincing case.

They have it at amazon, with one of those “look inside this book” thingies… Have also found articles by him on the net re scientific studies done w L-arginine and that anti-oxident.

L-arginine and horny goat weed are all about blood flow and do nothing for your testosterone levels.

Maca is a tuber used for food in South America. I’ve tested it and did saliva tests before and after and I got a 2 point increase, which I considered trivial at best and possibly nothing more than a natural variation.

In case you’re wondering, I didn’t screw around with capsules but bought 2 kilos of it off e-Bay and took 6 tablespoons a day for a month. As always Your Mileage May Vary.

Most erectile issues are plumbing related and have little to do with hormones. I’ve personally tested Yohimbe, L-arginine, Horny Goat Weed and had good results. Yohimbe works fine for me and is relatively cheap. But far and away the best product I’ve tried is called “Super-X” which can be found here:

http://www.chi-health.com/Products/SUPER-X.htm

Half the price of Cialis or Viagra and works better and for a longer time. Take it on a Friday night and party all weekend. It takes an hour or so to kick in, but once you get going, you’ll find that you recover from orgasm and are ready to go again in an amazingly short time.

But none of these ED helpers have anything to do with the anabolic properties of testosterone.
