I just got an exam done for total testosterone and it said my level was 5.03 and the normal range was (2.80-8.00) I am 23 years old. Is this kind of low for my age?
Also have been split between buying TRIBEX and RED KAT, I just ordered a bottle of RED KAT today to give that a try. Does it just raise free T or also increase your natural production. Also I have started taking Male Fuel from Twinlab and was wondering if their products are trustable.
Like bigmike said, it looks like you’re smack in the middle. Quick question, what time of day was your blood test done? The reason I ask is that T levels fluctuate through out the day, and are typically the highest in the morning (which is when you would want the exam done).
As far as RED KAT, it does raise your natural production as well as the percentage of that being free/bioavailable.
Also, you might want to look into just taking Alpha Male; it’s a potent combo of the main ingredients in TRIBEX, RED KAT, and M (which is an anti-estrogen).
Hope that helps!

Yes I just wanted to try something to bump it up a bit.[/quote]
Don’t worry about testosterone in itself too much. It’s the FREE Testosterone you have to pay attention to.
This is usually closed in with most blood tests.
In weightlifters and athletes, testosterone is actually(generally speaking)LOWER than in the average person … so this is normal.
Look at Free Testosterone levels, this is what is useful to your body.
My test was recorded 2 years ago at about 6.2, and my Free(get this)at 19.1 … so I was pretty happy, the lab pointed out that androgens had to be in use and all(which was not the case)
If your Free Test is high and SBHG is low, you’re good to go.
