Testosterone conversion

I got my blood testosterone levels done a while back and got them back from the doctor at 18.2 nmol. Whenever I see test levels mentioned on this forum though they are like 541 or something like that. What is this measurement, and how can I convert from nmol to it?

Thanks

Your T level is just above average. Range is between 10 and 30 normally on a logarithmic scale so 18 is above average. JR

Huh? What clinical world are you from? Total testosterone is usually given in ng/dL or nmol/L. At 18.2 nmol/L he’s slightly below average. Another thing, different analysis equipment may use different methodolgies that give slightly different answers. The reference range (range of normal values) should appear on the report and is appropriate for the equipment used.
