Test to Help Heal My Elbow?

I was mountain biking and i jumped across a dirt jump and when i landed my bike slid out (it was wet out) and then i put my hand down to brace my fall and little did i know there was a rock beneath the grass. My elbow then dislocated and fractured all the little bones inside alone with everything else.

I saw a therapist originally after a while i gained my movement but the ligemnets were still all really weak. I thought about going back but i got told that it would just be a waste of money by my doctor. so he told me i was out of commision for 1-2 years (high stress activity)

thanks for all your guys help

Maybe your doctor is right. I have typically ignored mine, but if your elbow still gives you pain during stressful activities, that is a sign. You are likely to screw it up worse taking AAS because you will train through the pain or not feel it to the degree that you do now, but pain is a signal that something is wrong. See a PT, don’t mess with the elbow for now. You are 17. You’re still made of rubber.

You’ll heal up completely and be good to go. Work around it in the meantime and stay active in other ways. I’m nearly 32 and in the last few years I’ve had a couple of injuries I thought might never heal up right again, and I still always have, usually in short time. Good luck.

talking to a physical therapist or a sports injury doctor is your best bet. no AS will help your elbow heal. most likely you will end up permanently hurt if you try to lift heavy weights with an existing injury. also 17 years old is far too young to be juicing, (not calling you stupid, all of us want to get bigger) but you could screw up your hormones and future growth. something I bet you’d regret for the rest of your life.

thanks for all your help
