Test for My First Time

Outside of his PCT everything looks good, and it seems as though he has done his research.

Man I say go for it, you are 35, do what the fuck you want. Your test levels are already dropping anyways so why not go ahead and use?

Up your calories and get the gains you are looking for.

You aren’t some little kid coming in with no idea of what you want to do, you have a pretty good basic cycle there.

We all used before we hit our “genetic potential” as much as some like to argue against that fact, that’s generally how it works. You have maintained a great attitude this entire time and have taken the criticsms well.

I vote do it.

I am taking the use of AAS seriously, so I appreciate all the advice. I dont want the easy ride to a rockin body and have resisted trying this for a long while. If I weighed 20-30 lbs more i wouldnt even consider AAS because I’d already be bigger than I personally want to be.

It would take me at least another 2-3 years of work to get to the point where I would be ‘ready’ on paper and probably never by the picture standard. I admire your physiques and respect the work you must put it into it, but I face the facts that my genetics will never allow me to look like that naturally.

You know you don’t need steroids. It’s obvious that you are just going to use them so you can say you’ve used. Your whole attitude about this reeks of failure.

Sorry to hijack your thread, I’m done now.

Your cycle looks perfectly laid out. With the degree of attention you have demonstrated so far, I see no reason not to run the cycle as long as you can get quality gear. You will definitely add 20+ lbs if you eat well. The trick is keeping it post cycle. I am similiar to you except older (turning 48 in July). I gained 25 lbs on a similiar cycle and then I got in a funk in January & early Feb and stopped training. I am now only a few lbs heavier than when I started.

Key is continuing to train and even more difficult continuing to eat enough to support your new bulk. If one has been of small build for a long time, it can be phychologically difficult to adjust to the new you. That was my experience, maybe partially because I felt flabby at my new size and my mind fought back by pushing me back to my former size.

In my opinion one must maintain the new size for about 1 year so that becomes your new set point and your concept of you evolves sufficiently to maintain and continue growing.

i appreciate all the advice (and critiscm). I think, after speaking with my doctor today, that I will do only 300 mg a week this first cycle.

With a good diet, continued training and that boost, i feel i should get some gains but not too much to make me feel uncomfortable. Everyone has different goals and putting on 20 lbs in a two month period is scary. I have seen people in the past do that and it turn to fat afterwards and Im not willing to risk that for this first round.

If all goes well and I decide to try again next year, I can go for 500 mg a week and throw something else into the mix as well. I will let this post die, but im sure as I begin this cycle in a few weeks i will have tons of questions in the future…

Sorry, I know I haven’t been contributing to this thread, but feel I must say something here: putting on 20 lbs of muscle doesn’t have anything to do with gaining fat. Muscle does not turn to fat. If someone stops working out and doesn’t adjust their caloric intake, they will gain fat as they lose muscle and their BMR decreases. Most likely the people you know who did this just did a cycle to look good for the Summer, then went back to their old lifestyle afterward.

I change my earlier view. You are not ready for steroids.

Really man? Muscle turned to fat? Come on…
