I think the confusion is from the conflation of two separate actions as one thing.
The ester half-life is merely a measure of the decay of the molecules. The drug half-life is the time it takes for the drug to be eliminated.
But your point about TNE is one that I thought of when was writing the last response. Intellectually it makes sense that if it takes X time for the ester to break down and Y time for the drug to then be metabolized then half life would be equal to X + some derivation of Y.
But when my doctor had me on deca he specifically would not take blood for my regularly scheduled tests until at least one month after because it would throw off e2 numbers (though we didnāt know by how much) and he wanted data that represented a more typical example of my protocol.
Anyway, deca is weird and metabolizes in a way that I donāt think we fully grasp. But when it comes to PCT I think itās more prudent to start later rather than earlier, if for no reason other than an extra week of being off everything gives you more time to observe how you feel before starting another course of drugs. But thatās entirely my opinion.
