FAI, Hip Replacement Surgery, & Athletics Inquiry; Anyone Have Experience?

I am an endurance athlete and have FAI (Femoracetubular Impingement), it’s a mis-shaped hip joint that has caused bone spurs and cartilage deterioration and damage, plus I have a torn labrum…lots of fun and I’m not bone on bone in the joint yet but am very close. Surgery is recommended and they are ready to start the process whenever I am.
