Test and NPP

Hey, im a former mens physique pro. 5’10, 210, 9%bf, 45yo. Ran gear for a while. Starting a 12 week cycle. 300mg Test C every 10 days (it works for me) 200mg Test P per week, 200-300mg NPP per week.
My question is should i add Primo to this in an attempt to keep it clean? I know some will recommend removing Test C and sticking with P only. Will consider. Trying to put on some clean size with minimal sides. I have Aromasin, Caber (if needed)…

What are your thoughts?

This has nothing to do with drugs and everything to do with your diet.

How many years since you last competed?

Are you just now returning to the weight room? If so, how many years? How long have you been consistently training if you did have a long layoff?

How long since your last AAS cycle.

At your best what was your age, weight, and % body fat?

Are you looking to compete again relatively soon and this is your reason for another cycle?

And most of all, congratulations on your achievements.

Ain’t nothing wrong with that.

Define clean.

4% bf at 42yo. Continued to train ran Test and Pcts.

Low water retention. I dont want the puffy look. Cycle between keto and carnivore diet

Coming from a slight anecdotal perspective, NPP doesn’t cause as much water retention as Deca. With that in mind, it seems like the debate now centers on whether Mast or Primo is the better choice for managing estrogen control—a holy war of opinions, so to speak.

Still some variables come into play, and everyone responds differently. If you’re cutting, Mast might be the better option; if you’re focusing on building, Primo could be the way to go—though it’s hard to say for sure. Chances are, with the doses you’re running, you probably don’t need much Aromasin or Caber (if any). However, it all depends on where your prolactin and estrogen levels are and whether you’re prone to issues with either of them.
It sounds like you’re aiming to avoid too much smoothing out, so maybe consider skipping the NPP entirely—or at least starting with a lower dose and adjusting as needed. Just thinking out loud here.

I think NPP is great stuff. I’m a hyper-responder to it, so I don’t need to use it in high amounts.

I’m more of a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy—lately, it’s been mostly meat. Translation: just run test at a high dose—it’s tried and true. That said, there are plenty of smarter folks here who can offer more insight based on your specific goals and objectives.

Good luck.

Im not opposed to putting on too much. If i get puffy, ill adjust food and cardio. I definitely want to put on a little more muscle without the heavy water retention.

I normally can cut and clean up pretty good…

Whats a good amount of NPP? Is 200mg per week too low?

A dose of 200 mg works well, but you might be surprised at the noticeable effects even with a lower dose of 100–150 mg. Several factors come into play regarding how the ester is metabolized, influencing collagen synthesis and joint support (compared to standard nandrolone). Personally, I’ve noticed benefits even at doses as low as 100mg, depending on the brand/lab I use.

For some individuals, nandrolone can impact mental health and overall sense of well-being, so it’s important to monitor your response and stay mindful of any changes.

The advantage is that it clears your system quickly. (unlike Deca)

300 test
200NPP
400eq
Would be a great cycle to put in some lean mass.
Just keep diet clean.
I’m pretty much running the same right now just with deca instead of NPP.

No doubt, EQ will assist with estrogen management to some extent, but can the AI effect significantly outperforming the aromatization process be an issue? Do you think he should bump up the dose of Test while running that level of EQ?

How’s the Deca treating you?

I would leave it there and monitor how he’s feeling. I can run high EQ without issue.

Great. Love deca. Just like it low. 300/wk max is perfect.
