Teachers and Politics

This first article you know about. Teacher calls for people to troll the tea party and gets sent on admin leave.

This second one is an account of an Alabama teacher who used the scenario of Obama’s assassination as an example for teaching angles. Although this warranted secret service investigation, no punishment was handed down.

Disparate treatment/Fair? Thoughts?

this is a school district in Oregon vs Alabama. Are you really surprised by the difference?

Of course as the PWI would argue, this is an obvious case of liberals and their intolerance vs tea party/non-dem party and the tolerance of the conservatives for anyone who would assassinate an American president.

Those articles are hilarious! Thanks for those!

It’s Alabama. I’m surprised she didn’t just use Martin Luther King as an example but I’m sure Obama was fine.

No. I’m not surprised. I just wanted to see how the resident conservatives would respond. But of course they don’t respond to stuff like this so I am, again, not surprised.

I’m a neo-con…or at least have been told that I am. So, what sort of response were you looking for?

Just start teachers at what an engineer makes and raises (similar) to follow. Then the K-Mart clerks will evolve out and you’ll get decent teachers. Low pay = the teachers you describe.

I’ll reply. THe Alabama teacher should be suspended for stupidity.

At first, I thought ‘Angles’ as in ‘political angles’ and different points of view. Article suggests it’s of the geometric kind.

I’m seconding doogie’s reply.

Say the guy from new jersey, where drug deals and northern moral and intellectual supremacy are favored examples.

It’s the taxes from all of our millionaires that pay your welfare checks hillbilly.

And when we pop people it’s cause they ripped us off, not just because of their skin color.

  1. new jersey has had it’s share of race riots and violence.

  2. People up north murder others for reasons every bit as dumb as skin color. I don’t see why skin color is any dumber a reason that gang colors.

  3. A teacher in Alabama wouldn’t be collecting welfare. ALTHOUGH People in Alabama can actually make more on welfare than working as a teacher (and on workers comp). Me thinks the handouts in Alabama might be part of the problem. It might be a better place without that fancy yankee money.

Poor choice of example by the teacher.

Why does it have to be Obama? The article states that the teacher said you would have to be at this angle to shoot the president. Could have been Carter, Bush I, II, or Clinton since they are all still alive. They are all the president.

Both are stupid, I don’t like Obama, but would not be ok with someone using the idea of his assasination to make a point.

I am not condoning this in any way.

I will say that the article says you have to be at this angle to shoot the president. Why does it have to be Obama? It could be Carter, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, or Obama. They are all the president.

Sorry for the double post, but my internet is screwing up.

There’s gangs everywhere, not just in the north.

I’m more concerned that students are still learning about angles and parallel lines in their senior year.
