Really?
You think all that blow just falls from heaven?
First it has to be cultivated, then harvested, refined, packaged, transported, marketed and all in complete secrecy.
Also, all those cops, custom agents and whatnot do not bribe themselves.
And yet, the price of cocaine has plummeted since the 80s.
You wish that any government agency was as efficient.
Frank is right,I know people think our government can do no right , and they use US postal as an example , I would challenge those that do to mail a letter via Swift trucking or even UPS, Try Fed ex. Maybe other parcels ,like if you want to ship a coil of steel , ok the postal service is not for you, letters who can compete ?
Right their you show your ignorance on the matter, it is so cheap because it is subsidized with tax money, they take a loss every year, The price is artificially suppressed. Similar to much of the food and clothes you buy, Look at the difference in the commodities exchange and prices in the stores. So the government borrows money, subsidizes all of these commodities to hide how bad inflation really is, and the tax payer is forced to pay back 120% of what they borrowed to keep people from realizing the truth of the value of goods and services. Yes that sounds like a great system to me.
But hey what do you care, the tax payers are funding your entire life, yay let the free ride role.

Wow man you just keep lining up the ignorance, all that red tape is contrived and arbitrary. They are called regulations, put in place by the government to control said business, much of the time the red tape is contrived by one larger corporation, lobbied into the regulations and gives that corporations a huge business advantage.
I don’t know let’s use light bulbs for an example. GE and the government have this great relationship, where they make tons of money and use loopholes to not pay any taxes. Now GE designs this MERCURY filled lightbulb that uses approximately 75% of the energy of a normal lightbulb, according to real world test data. They offer some political funding and in turn use this hysteria about a natural phenomena called climate change, to write a regulation, gee I thought we were not to enact laws outside of congress there is a whole piece of government that could go away. The regulation bans the production of normal lightbulbs, non toxic. And forces everyone to by GE’s toxic lightbulbs all in the name of the environment.
Anyone else see the irony and complete stupidity, not the mention the direct violation of individual rights. And now if people don’t know better they throw these away like they would normal lightbulbs instead of paying the extra money to discard them as hazardous waste, ooohh wait bet another regulation is coming which will monitor your trash.
Sorry to the rest of you competent people for the rant, but the stupidity and absurdity is really starting to drive me crazy. I don’t know how people like this function.

Well, I get that it is a difficult business environment, but nobody tells them how to do their jobs,.

The best health care system in the world is the one you never use. And I say that in reference to how you eat and live your life. If you live like a fucking slob (eat like shit, smoke, drink, no exercise, etc), then I should not have to pay for your sick ass down the road. Now for those who are born with health issues, obviously that’s a different story. But if I have to pay for someone who sweats margarine, then I should get a tax write off on anything and everything that keeps me away from the doc. That includes healthy food, supplements, my gym membership, etc.
Actually, one of the best health care systems in the world is in Singapore. You know how they do it? Everybody has to have catastrophic insurance. The difference is that everyone also pays into a special savings account until it reaches something like $40,000. Then the citizens are allowed to simply pay for their health care as they see fit. If they fall below a threshold for the account, they must legally pay until it is replenished. Their health care is free market driven and therefore much cheaper (what drives up costs in the US is the way the insurance industry tries to get out of paying which in turn causes market dislocations).
A big plus with the Singapore system is that it allows a very high level of savings which in turn makes financial institutions rock solid.
We should so totally do this and the Republicans should spearhead it. The problem is that the Democrats know so little about money that they can spin the idea that the industry can be made free if we so desire it. All we have to do is take money from rich folks to pay for it. This is appealing since the most liberal members of the party had Mommy and Daddy pay for everything and have no idea why money doesn’t just grow on trees. Belling the cat is a dandy political platform.

It sounds great, the problem is, 2/3 of America is obese, and I suspect that the costs will supercede the savings. People talk about how Europe has a great health care system, they also have a MUCH lower rate of obesity, so less people use the HC system in general.

Give it 2 years that will change, economic collapse and no more processed foods or handouts will change things a little,

Nothing to eat and walking everywhere does wonders for a populations health.

Drug trade is not mired in red tape, your so silly you wanker. Discipline in the drug is almost to that of military discipline. If one does not follow orders things do happen and heads will roll you silly ass.
Any who why are you being so mean to me pitbull? Did I hit a nerve that touched the reality portion of your brain my friend?
So back to your question what are you blaming the Tea Party for this day?
so my contractor, sean, thats installing my air conditioner mentioned he was a tea party member today. so i slugged him in the gut and blamed and yelled at him for the S&P Tea Party downgrade. After all it was his fault, and not all the people that can actually vote on this stuff in congress.

The really funny part is that Obama had both houses of Congress DEMOCRAT for two full years. And did he try to improve the economy? Noooooooo…instead he crammed health care down our throats.
Mufasa wrote:

Really?
I think it’ll only stay… maybe if Obama gets re-elected… maybe… I bet it vanishes when the Republicans return to power.
What began as (what I thought was an exciting) libertarian-ish movement that could potentially have had broad appeal beyond the Republican base, has morphed into… the hard-core Republican base… social conservatism and all… it’s dominated by guys who called McCain a RINO, and think Ron Paul is liberal because he doesn’t think the government needs to be shoving socially conservative values down our throats… the “leaders” or at least vocal spokespeople are Neoconservatives now… Dick Army, Bachmann, Palin… the people supporting these folks are the same people who would have voted to give Bush a third term without batting an eye.

You are comparing a well run logistics company that is probably the best in the world to many small time labs and many more free agents that ONLY goal is to make money, nothing wrong with making money but there is no true value in drugs , ok maybe Marijuana
