Tax Rebates....

so i got my tax rebate/stimulus check.

$175. Lame. I was deployed for half of last year so i guess the tax break i got in pay qualified me for that. i wish someone would have told me. i had my eyes on $600 worth of equipment from ELITEFTS.

now i cry for shame of not owning a prowler

anyone else get less than they expected?

im supposed to get mine tomorrow latest. I hope it is 600. Did you get deposit or check and was it on time?

deposit. i was supposed to get it no later than tomorrow. i’m a “23” for the last two of my SSN.

Sweet. I am a 53 so hope it comes on time.

you can see when its supposed to be deposited. really quick and easy. wish i’d have checked it before i got mine. oh well. i have enough for supps. Biotest gets all my moneys!!

Well what do you know, $600 from Uncle Sam found its way into my account today. That’ll help offset the cost of the 80gig PS3 I just bought.

Another reason to have kids.

$1800

$175 > $0, was expecting/wishing Congress would have kept the higher married income limitations, oh well, I guess it is a good “problem” to have

Or not. Let’s see how much of that $1800 you get to keep without having to spend it on them. LOL

Very true. Especially with the youngest’s birthday tomorrow.

“Hmmmm, let’s see, Dad. I want Power Ranger DVDs, Iron Man action figure, “The Rocket” fishing rod, yada, yada, yada…”

Sheesh…give him a 50 and take him to the store…let him buy whatever he wants…

Wow.

As a dependent who thought he was getting $0, imagine the excitement when I clicked on this thread and went to the IRS site and found out that I am getting $300, and it is supposed to be deposited today.

And it was.

And now I’m god damn happy.

But, using it for a credit card payment is god damn BORING.

I don’t understand. I got mine over a month ago, only a few days after i filed. Why is everyone else getting theirs now?
