Taco Bell

I can back up that statement about chick- fil-a. I worked there 5 years ago as my first job. The breast look like the stuff you buy in a supermarket, and the nugs look like cut up breasts. The oil is peanut; it isn’t a lie.

Peanut butter on a hamburger? I love both foods, but never thought about combining them. Anything else go on this burger?

Well, you’ll have to ask Ko - the last time we were there, that’s what he had. And it’s HUGE (Big Eye Huge). It’s called The Captains Burger and you get 'em at a place called The Bomber. Can’t miss it - has a big old World War II Bomber in the front parking lot. They pack this burger with alot of stuff - good stuff, I might add.

If i remember right it also had ham and a fried egg but i could be wrong, its been a while. It was a damn a good burger.

Thanks for the info. I looked up the burger at their website. Sounds interesting. I may have to modify it to my liking and give it a shot. This is what I found on the website for others who might be as daring as I and want to try a concotion like this. “Bomber Burger” -
Seasoned pair of patties with ham, bacon, American cheese, mushrooms, pickles, onions, tomato, lettuce, thousand island dressing and mayo plus our secret weapon (Peanut Butter). I didn’t see a Captain’s burger, but this one looked like it fit the bill.

Jason - you’re right it is the Bomber Burger. Been awhile since we’ve been there. But the neat thing about this place is that ALL they’re burgers are good. Ooh boy, I think it’s time we pay a visit…

Peanut butter on a hamburger? Not in my America! That’s just plain Communism!

Had to comment - If you want to eat crap (and all fast food is the lowest quality food you can find including the burger - very low quality and very high fat, in fact it’s all very high bad fat as bad fat is cheap and therefore crap) than of course, you certainly deserve that choice but just because you have a fast metabolism and can eat lots of fat crap with out getting fat doesn’t mean your not plugging up your arteries with all this bad fat and setting your self up for heart disease some day. You don’t have to be fat or obese to have plugged arteries and heart disease. I’ve known a number of older skinny bastards who died in their 50’s and lower 60’s from heart disease. Anyway, enjoy your rancid saturated fat while you can. And by the way, I’m not against a high fat diet as long as you utilize “good” heart healthy fats combined with low carbs and you won’t get either of these at fast food - you’ll get the worst of both worlds - high saturated (and more likely rancid) fat along with high carbs (and bad, high GI carbs at that). High fat , high carb diet. Yeah right, it doesn’t get any worse than that. And that is the reason 60% of america is obese. Bon Apetite.

Peanut butter burgers? Um… have all you want! I’ll take your word for it! grin (This coming from someone who can’t wait to have snails again)

Heb- You make it seem like I have the worst diet in the world or something. I eat fast food for 1 out of my 6 meals per day, if at all. My other meals are clean, especially as far as saturated fats. I keep a diet log, and make sure to record the nutrition info of everything I eat. The fast food that I do eat is not the absolute worst. I generally get either some sort of burger, chicken sandwich, or sub, never with mayo or dressings of any kind, and no side orders. My other meals consist of lots of lean meats, fruits and vegetables, nuts, protein shakes (mix flax oil in), 1% milk, and close to a gallon of water per day. Besides, I’m a college student, and I would say I eat healthier overall than over 95% of the other people at my school. I don’t drink alcohol, coffee, or soda. Throw me a frickin bone here.

Sorry if I was hard on you but what did you expect when you made the statement “fast food is not crap” because I stand by what I said - fast food most definately is crap and personally, I won’t eat any of it. However, it does sound like for the most part, you eat well. Just don’t go around trying to tell people that fast food is good for you because it will never fly. Most health conscious people would agree that fast food is crap any way you look at it. By the way, you said you don’t drink - neither do I, but I’m willing to bet that a drink a day would have fewer long term health effects than a fast food meal a day. The point I’m making is if you don’t drink for health reasons, why on earth would you want to eat any amount of fast food? Fast food is not in the best interests of Americans - it is just another example of the mega corporations obsenely profitting off the consumer with inferior quality products and total disregard for their neighbors health, especially when you consider most fast food advertising is directed at kids.

I dont know where you live but in norcal we have a mexican chain called la salsa. this place is by far the best fast food place you can imagine. For under seven bucks you can get close to six ounces of real grilled chicken breast(they let me look at a piece of the raw chicken its actually really good quality) and rice and beans. Or you can substitute lean beef. its very quick too. Other than this place (which I actually rarely go to) I would never step foot in ANY of the major fast food shithouses. stop being so lazy and just learn to cook your own food its cheaper and much better for you.

Heb, the main reason I don’t drink is family history. I realize that a drink a day would not be bad, but I’m more referring to the fact that most college students go out and get dead drunk, some do it a few times every week by taking in well over a thousand calories worth of beer. As far as advice that I give to other people, I never suggest fast food to them. I suggest things like chicken breast, vegetables, lots of water, and to make sure to get a good amount of protein after workouts. I’m really not that into fast food, I just eat it for bulking purposes.
