That’s right…fuckin canadians.
Lol, we should be nice to Canada. We import more of our natural gas and oil from them than any other country.

I’d do tabata if I’m trying to lose weight and the widowmaker if I was trying to gain weight.

What he said.

You can go heavy with tabata squats, but not nearly as heavy as with widowmakers (had to read up on them, didn’t know them under this moniker). Conversely, you can do tabata squats at a higher frequency (I used to do them almost every day for a few weeks to crank the fat loss and used about 1.15 x body weight).

That being said, you can nevertheless expect some nice muscle gain (quads!) from tabata squats.

Apparently there is a remake of in preproduction due out in 2010. Not sure it will be the same, though, without the choppy stop animation mixed with live action. They would have to really kick some ass to beat the original giant scorpion scene!

Fucking sweet.

yeah, this is one of my all-time favorite movies. I remember watching it on Beta-Max when I was little.

That Perseus might be a skinny-looking twerp, but motherfucker knows how to regulate.

ha lol! Me too! I remember watching that movie sitting on my parents couch and when that fucker came on I was like “Oh mah GOD!” and fucking ran behind the couch. Not even the metallic owl made me want to watch it again. Great movie.
For some reason that owl always reminded me of R2D2.

Here you go. After talking about it, I had to find a few scenes to watch:

scorpions:

Medusa:

Edit: watch Medusa first, it flows right into the scorpion scene.

Looks like I’m gonna need to get a hold of this movie and watch it. It’s been too long.

I think, on the history channel when they were doing a whole analysis of the Star Wars series, they made that correlation of R2D2 and the owl.

Funny. the characters are really similar, as far as mannerisms, etc.

That’s all that needs to be said. Tabata is just hard as 20-rep squats provided you use the right weight.

Yeah I agree. Some do widowmakers because they actually like to train legs hard. No “jump on the leg extension for a few sets and do some 1/128th rep leg presses with all the plates and your buddy on top” bullshit leg training.

ur hilarious man you start shitting on tabata when ur fucking clueless

WHEN did I in my entire fucking previous post “shit” on tabata? I clearly mentioned widowmakers. I’m fucking clueless. Yeah okay dude.
