The BAD thing is it is not these ladis for the most part that are turning this otherwise great thread into yet another peice of trash. It is you all throwing in the litte “CAT fight” comments and such.
Come on guys. If Sic Torn and Hot AZ have a prob let them solve it. Let this thread be what it was a motivation and a great training thread in general. Showing ppl gathering for Fun and hard training.
Just my opinion however, I dont imagine it will help and will only bring more backlash and childish comments.

Lighten up. If people are going to act like three year-olds and air their dirty laundry out in public - it’s fair game.
I don’t think uttering the phrase “cat fight” has set women’s weight training back at all.
It was a freakin joke. Maybe had I cited the Seinfeld episode number that I was inferring, female weight training might have been spared from this horrific tragedy.
Well I will not become a part of what ruins this thread and will just let my comments post prior stand as my stance on this.
I just want to add it WAS nice to have a thread showing people actually put all the info obtained from this site to use instead of just talking about it. Not simply a thread breaking down every little aspect but putting the info to use and showing sharing that.
As of late it seems that it is ONLY the Ladies of the board that are doing this, and they consistantly get there threads attacked by the same Childish behavior.
Just my 2 cc for what little it counts.
Keep training hard gals I wish you the best,
Phill

I totally agree that it is wrong to ruin a serious and motivational thread. Nevertheless, IMHO, the thread derived its quality and motivational character solely from what the ladies were doing and posting. This actually seems to hold true as the “childish” posting by some of us only started after the shift away from the initial topic. As the “childish” posts didn’t attack anyone personally and were meant to be humorous (albeit maybe bad humour), I don’t see any serious reasons for a major argument over this.

Phil, while I almost always agree with you, at this point I have to throw the bullshit flag.
They brought it out into the open.
People suggested to them that they not do it–because of the airing dirty laundry stuff.
I also have to call bullshit on your comment about ‘only the women training hard’…just because I don’t post a picture every time I flip a tire or do a set of snatches or a 500 pound deadlift doesn’t mean I’m not training hard.
I can’t speak for RainJack though…he might still be curling his pink dumbbells in the squat rack.
OK, I just had to share that these ladies from AZ got me motivated to do something. I haven’t done log training since my days in the Marines (about 8 years).
So, I’m now going to start using my 70 lb punching bag as a type of log. The bulkiness and size should make it a nice little GPP tool. Plus, it is a little slick which will make it slightly harder to wield.

Hey, no fair picking your favorite lift… Plus you know i’m a scrawny golf nerd. But, since you value your postierior chain so much… a footrace. 100M winner takes all. Or we could do a decatholon, but i’d probably smoke you in that.

Takes all what V? I’m a little uncomfortable being bet over…
We really do need to knock this off though, or she’s going to have to start a whole new motivational thread because this one is pretty derailed from it’s original purpose.

not with two broken legs you won’t.
LOL!
there must be some way we can combine your thing and my thing…how about this…we flip one of my tires from the tee to the green, then take the putt. Closest wins.

I don’t know…the idea of deadlifting or tire flipping to be you and AZ’s oil/corner boy is motivating me alright.

How about this, we both hit a golf ball as far as we can, I flip the tire back from your ball, you flip it back from mine, best time wins.

I’m not letting you near my balls with your club.
Oh…that’s not what you said?
You’re a creative little bugger!
If we’re gonna do that, how about you let me throw the ball, huh?
Cause last time I went to a driving range I did…well, about as bad as you’d do flipping my tire, LOL!!

I’ll give you an aluminium baseball bat if you want, and i’m pretty sure i’d do ok with your tire. plus i’m smart so once I got it up on end, I’d turn it and roll the fucker while you weren’t looking.
