How much do you, and anyone else, practice posing? That shit is hard.

Me, alot… i have a vision of me competing in the future, i always just hit poses pretending im in a show. It was unusaul at the start, however with practice and watching alot of videos you’ll start to get it, take videos of yourself aswel.

Now im not saying im the man at posing, but im definatley not bad. Maybe when i see myself beside others iii start saying im the man at posing.

lol… Yeah it is awkward to say the least. Plus thinking about and flexing 7,000 muscles at once isn’t something that is really coming quickly to me. (But then again, I’m a tard. It took me months to find my grove in bench to really target my chest more than Tri & Shoulders.)

Has it made significant difference in your progress? There was another thread that seemed to be full of people that said it helps awhile ago. Do you agree?

Personally, even if you have no plans of competing, I think every lifter should practice lat spreads. You need to learn what it feels like to flare your scapulea, and learn how to do it on command. When you perform that same action while doing pullups/pulldowns/rack chins or any other back width exercise I think it makes it that much more effective.

You know what bro, i honestly cant tell you if it has been a factor in my progress. All i know is that i have alot of control over the muscle.

I have never really understood the concept of posing improving your physique. However during contest prep i think why posing is so important is because it drastically helps in separating the muscle.

Im about 10-12 % bf (honestly have no idea) so i cant really say if posing has made a difference in my progress, food and heavier weights has though

Of course, the hardest one is the most important. LOL.

I’ll be off trying not to look like a turtle for awhile.

Thanks Paul for the responses also.

Definitely practice posing pretty often. For one, just to work on mind-muscle connection, and 2, so when I step on stage by the time I’m 30, I’ll be doing them in my sleep.

And I definitely second what Way said up there. Practice those lat spreads. In the morning, at night, while eating, in the gym. It really pays off IMHO (my shitty attempt in the avatar haha).

Shit, and I was just about to tell you that the other day I found myself thinking, “Wow, bugeishaAD grew some fucking wings since I last checked.”

Shitty or not, I think it’s working for ya.

Ugh,… something else to diet for?! -lol
