You stole my idea, after someone posted the coleman olympia thread i thought of this the other day, but i had my own idea of how to do it.
Was more, based on stats - BF%, height, weight, measurements, pic - then we rate the “contestants” from 1-100 etc. Then do some comparison posing, hahaha if someone was good at photoshop that would be awesome hahaha. But yeah i reckon its a good idea.
Just below 202 class, and then a heavyweight class:
Below 202: The mighty stu, new damage, dont remember his name (the guy that weighs like 170 but looks 200, and always argues with PX.
Heavyweight: PX, C_C, MODOK, Bauer, WaylanderXX, Austin_Bicep etc.
Do it!
lol@ below 202
ain’t happening - in this old avatar photo I’m a very lean, very carb depleted 215 or so @ 6 feet 202 would be seriously pushing it, doubtful I could hold onto enough muscle to make it there…that’s like a what, dehydrated 197 or so? Yeah don’t think so…
So my only options are to gain until I can hang with X and Waylander and well nevermind Bauer… its no fair being tall AND fucking huge.

Nut swinging?
Besides, I disagree
The /thread would be if Prisoner came out of the woodwork and humored us, I think.
I can’t imagine any of those people wanting to do this, though.
Why is it every time my name is mentioned someone gets called out for “nut hugging”? There is a whole thread about “Caveman” filled with nothing but “the hugging of nuts” and no one called them on it.
Also, why is “nut hugging” a negative? I wouldn’t mind my nuts being hugged from time to time as long as it isn’t by a dude. Everybody needs a nut hug every now and then just to stay balanced. The cruelest people in the world are that way because they haven’t had a nut hugged in years…and that sucks.
I would guess that the “nut hugging” comment was in regards to Biceps assertion that it’s ridiculous to believe that there is anyone on this board who could possibly rival you in terms of development, and there is no reason to discuss the matter further.
Yeah, I wouldn’t do this shit unless I had dieted down and that’s probably not going to be for awhile unless you wanted to have a teen division too. ha

Modok could actually compete in the 202 and blow both classes away by virtue of having ~20 inch guns at that bodyweight.
The prof, Waylander and I can compete for the “ronnie-coleman-waist-award”.
Ok, way is probably going to win that one
But maybe he won’t, since the rest of us didn’t need gear to get our waists that big… That’s got to count for something… Yeah. Way is a cheater!
just an idea - as you have to be careful who you take advice from on this site as there are plenty of people here who haven’t even put up a bicep shot. Was going to say pictures but people are crafty with that photoshop so video would be easier.
wouldn’t expect people to cut down either - it would end up being more of a thing to help people with critiquing etc…
Why would anyone who post here need to photoshop their pics (except their face if it is ugly like mine)? Isn’t the point to take as accurate pics of yourself so that you can work to improve?

ego/doesn’t want to be found out to be fraud…there are people on this site who shouldn’t be giving advice - people with 16.5 inch arms telling others how to get their arms hyuuuuuge when 18 inches isnt really that big…they’ll add in different lighting etc to make it seem like they are more defined than they really are etc
Humm I don’t know, MD had the Cyber Classic a while ago, I think Michael Liberatore won the thing. Lighting, pics angle, quality of the picture etc make something like that extremely hard to pull off. Plus, I think I’d stick to the real thing, I’m not too much of a keyboard wrestler or something… criticism is a lot easier to give when all you have to do is post a couple pictures, I think that would open the door to some serious free online bashing. People tend to respect people a lot more when they have to put their guts on the table and go up onstage - I know I do.
Once we assign judges, get people to post a vid doing the mandatory poses and go from there.
Start from the front.
Front Lat spread
Front Double Bi
Side Chest
Side Tricep
Abs and Thigh
Rear Lat Spread
Rear Double Bi
Most Muscular
No music, just posing.
Also i dont think conditioning should be that important, some people are on a super serious quest for muscle, therefore it should just be judged on how impressive the physique is (conditioning would obviously help with this).
I think it would be a whole lot of fun and alot of community spirit.
Once we assign judges, lets start a thread and get the ball rolling.

Somewhat related question:
How much do you, and anyone else, practice posing? That shit is hard.

Me, alot… i have a vision of me competing in the future, i always just hit poses pretending im in a show. It was unusaul at the start, however with practice and watching alot of videos you’ll start to get it, take videos of yourself aswel.
Now im not saying im the man at posing, but im definatley not bad. Maybe when i see myself beside others iii start saying im the man at posing.
Having competing in the past, I would have to bring up lighting. The way the light creates shadows or washes out your muscularity will ge a big factor in your video or pics.
