Staley’s joined on. Thats awesome. I’d love to review some of his work.
I’m up for anything, especially things where a company might be looking for a female perspective, although I know there isnt much.
Thanks
Lauren
I am really impressed with t-mag for taking the initiative to set up the the T-Jack forum. It will be an incredible resource for anyone interested in purchasing any of the equipment that gets reveiwed, as well as providing insight into each product from a consumer’s perspective.
I really like one of the points that the mage brought up as well. Having each product reveiwed by 2 or 3 people should allow for a couple of opinions as not everyone will have the same experience with the same product, depending on their training background. It will give those people reading the reveiws a chance to make a more well rounded descision.
Cheers
Great idea! Count me in.
T-Nation makes dreams come true…
Echoing the sentiments of others on this thread, this is yet another great idea by T-mag. I will be then happy to try to stuff out and post a review. Keep up the good work T-mag!
this is so fucking cool! a good training book is priceless.
As I said in the innitial post, I am down for sure!!
Sign me up for any nutrition stuff or those body calipers
Indymacka, where do you train h.s athletes? I coach at Beech Grove Middle school and looking for some idaes to get them motivated, can you help?
Once the doc gives me the okay, after the surgery, I will have more than enough incentive to try any and all products to help me recover and review them accordingly.
DavidL-
It really depends on the client. Most, people have not trained w/ ploymetrics at all and thats the reason I said I don’t reccomend extra weight on ploymetrics exercises.
Otherwise, for athletes the X-Vest is a great tool for ploymetrics. What I love most about the X-vest is that the weights don’t fall out as easy as the other types of vest.

I would be glad to review anything! My wife would be glad to help as well.
Chris, I’d kill to try out the training-nutrition software from staley. I was actually gonna build my own food log planner over summer using C++ because I am sick of excel, but someone else’s version would be even better!!
Hmmm…I come back from a nice, long hiatus from message boarding, and I see this thread.
Very nice idea, and one that should make the users happy and those who are considering buying these products happy.
Might not make a few manufacturers happy, but that’s the chance they’ll have to take in allowing their products to be tested by real people with real standards. Quality will truly shine through.
And another update:
Joe DeFranco, a performance coach who’s had over 30 of his athletes make it into the NFL (at the age of 28), is sending us a few copies of his video “Mastering the Football Combine Tests”.
I’ve just completed an interview with Joe and I think everyone will dig his stuff.
I would love to review that video. As a serious basketball player i would be very interested in reviewing a sport/training related video especailly one with a requirement to help design a body fully capable of absorbing the bumps and grinds that football presents.
Ok serioulsy i just want to see the video to help myself improve conditioning wise for basketball which in turn might get me laid with one of the hotties who come to watch us play.
shipley, I teach and coach on the west-side. Personal Message (PM) me with an email or something, and I’ll write. I’d love to talk and help however i can. I actually live on the southside of Indy.
Its sounding great Shugart Daddy.
I will review anything! The guys on my team will helpt too.
I’d be in for anything involving grip. My carple tunnel has getting worse and grip work could help a lot.
Michelle, just practice on Demo’s neck. He won’t mind. ![]()
