I just totalled up what i ate for today. I consumed 2456 Cal at 293 g protein(63%) 59.2 g carbs(13%) 113.16 g fat(24%) These numbers seem strange to me for two reasons. My protein seems to be a very high percentage of what i eat.(should it be this high on the T-dawg diet?) and for a high fat diet 24% doesn;t seem very high.(just so everyone knows most is coming from fish oil, flax, olive oil and chicken) When I emailed Cy a while ago about something different he recommended getting 80 g fat only, for better weight loss results, which would make fat % even lower. DO the results from todays feeding look ok to everyone who have tried the t_dawg diet?

293 g protein?, do U weigh (293/.8=366 lbs). If not then U R consuming way too much protein, U need to take in about .6-.8 g/lb of protein, 70-100 g carbs on workout days (30-50 on non work out days), and rest of the calories from fats. U will not reach the near ketosis state from consuming this much protein. I dont know your weight and stuff, but for e.g I weigh 200 lbs and consuming 70/160/220 macro ratio. Do a search on the t-dawg FAQ and article. peace
i got you comming in at 56%P, 8%C, 36%f
still u should def lower ur protien, unless u weigh 370, then that # would be correct
Just so everyone knows I weigh around 195-197. Too much protein!!! I guess I got caught up with everyone saying to make sure to get lots of protein. So theoretically with my weight(197) i should be eating around 157 g protein. And the rest from fat. So if my reults are correct that would be 190 g fat while consuming 2620 Cal. I am not arguing with you guys, just trying to learn so how come Cy Wilson, when I asked him, said around 80 g fat? I am a bit confused now.

Spuddy…that brings you in at 2,900 cals for the day. Approx. what bf% are you currently working with? I weigh 200lbs also, but I am at 15-16% bf. I thought that 10cals X bodyweight was where one should set their intake level at? I’m sure I am off. Any insight would be appreciated!
spuddy to peri, I am about 13-14% right now, U R right my intake came to about 2900 cal/day.(weightX17 for moderate metabolism). I am also cycling 2 weeks with Androsol and 2 weeks with Tribex and Methoxy plus MD6 and T2 through out. In 3 weeks so far I have not seen anything dramatic (dropped like 4 lbs), but I do look leaner, it even seems like I have gained a little mass, though not sure how it is possible without calorie surplus, may be its the Andros!!!
BTW how long U all been on the diet?, what kind of weight loss U folks have seen so far?, what supplemenst U all using?, It be nice if we can post our results every couple of weeks to compare and tweek our progress. peace
Its alright buddy we all here to learn, and U R very welcome for any questions. 80 g fats is barely enough for healthy T levels without any aids, may be he meant 180gs. I am just pointing out what was mentioned in the t-dawg article/FAQ, just guidelines, U probably have to further tweek your calorie intake according to your lifestyle.
Spuddy, You were right, I recheked the T-dawg article and your consumption guidelines were right on. Thanks!! I think CY probably meant 180 aswell. Oh well, live and learn. Just one week wasted. I have been on the T-dawg for 1.5 weeks while doing GVT2000(MAybe not the best choice of program for a diet) I am going to do GVT for 3 or 4 weeks and do meltdown and compare my results. In the 1.5 weeks although I was not strictly on the diet(unbeknownst to me lol) I have noticed myself getting a little leaner and droping 1 pound. Not much but its a start. I am hoping to start seeing some better results now that I am using the correct amounts of food. I am using some Ephedrine/Caffeine, Protein shakes and thats about it.
I am finding it hard to consume that amount of protein within my cal guidelines. My protein sources are
chicken/turkey/salmon/tuna/beef
Eggs/cheese/
Protein shakes
I usually have 2(4.5 oz) servings of chicken, 3 eggs, 4.5 oz beef, 1 oz cheese, and 2 protein shakes a day. I don;t think I can cut out the protein shakes as one is post workout and one is before bed. Am I getting too much meat? What should I do to get the proper amount of protein?

How about I give U a example of what my meal plan looks for a day
meal 1, 8:00: 1egg(0/6/7), 1egg white beater (1/6/0), .5 Tbsp Olive oil (0/0/14), 1 slice cheese(2/4/5), 2 fish caps(0/0/3), 2bacon(0/4/6), 1teasp fiber =3/20/28
meal 2, 10:30: <1/4 cup cottage cheese, .5 scoop grow, 1.5 Tbsp Olive oil, 4 flex oil caps=4/20/27
meal 3 12:30: 3 OZ ground turkey (50% lean 0/18/15/ 4OZ), 1 cheese slice (2/4/5), 1 oz nuts (4/6/15),2 celery stalks, 2fish caps, 1teasp fiber=8/24/32,
meal 4 3:00: PWO drink=40-45/35/5,
meal 5, 5:00 is similar to meal 3, and so on…I just make sure that I dont over consume protein, get enough fiber/fish caps(very imp), and lots of green in the later part of the day. Its total of 7-8 meals/day, I have also been thinkin about my cottage cheese and grow combo in the middle of the night as well (hopefully starting tonight). So the bottom line is that I try getting 20 gms protein and 25-30 gms fats evey meal except PWO. I hope this helps. peace
I don’t think that your protien level is that high. I always try to shoot for 1.5 g/lb. That would put you right on in my opinion. But it can vary. I let mine vary from 1-1.5g/lb. Your fat can be higher also. Since this diet resembles that of the anabolic diet, your cal levels can be upwards of 3000 while keeping your carbs to 50-150 grams a day. You do the math. People get great results off of it.
