For the record, I would love NOTHING more than to just write about lifting heavy stuff and making people crazy athletic all the time. Threads like this reaffirm that in my mind.

However, what doesn’t is the 58 pages of my Locker Room thread since February that ask about almost nothing except injuries. People are jacked up - and it’s because they’ve been doing stupid crap like leg extensions, upright rows, and duck-stance sissy squats with a giant purple dildo up their arse. I’ve got over 20 pages of questions in Word that are “in queue” awaiting my response - and they’re all people who are in pain. Writing about deadlifts and jumping high is freakin’ stress relief for me - but if I can save a few knees or shoulders with an article in the process, I’m going to do it.

If you guys want particular articles from me, just say so. You can also subscribe to my free newsletter, as I throw a lot of variety in there weekly.

and some of us are pretty jacked up from doing bench presses, jerks, throws, and squats and pulls(most of the time there is no dildo involved, most of the time…)

long live machine training!!! lol

Actually, I’m kind of disappointed that you changed the title because a girl complained.

Maybe they should take the “testosterone” out of the site title.

Maybe, “PC Nation”.

I didnt complain you total ass I made a point as in saying why insult the thing that gives him pleasure, I thought it was funny in a way so stop your bitching

Pff. Whatever hon.

A Schovanist is a newer version of a classic waltz. This one includes “the shocker”.

Anybody else wanna play Balderdash?

PGA, I’m gonna take this thread seriously. Let’s get some facts straight.

 1. You’ve been here for years.
 2. You’ve read serious, tested and proven articles for increasing muscle mass.
 3. You’re complaining about the lack of these “good ole’ days” articles and members sharing their methods and success stories.

These are fine and dandy. Legitimate gripes. This is where it gets funky.

How has any of these articles and/or members’ stories helped you in your progress to get man-sized? How much weight have you gained in the time you’ve been here. How much more improved has your strength gotten in the time you’ve been here? I’m looking for concrete numbers. If you’ve demonstrated average gains representative of the time you’ve been here… THEN your gripe is worthy of consideration. IF you’ve gained no substantial development: you are a poser. POSER. Can you imagine the idea of hypocrisy exhibiting this very thing that you gripe?

I’d hazard to guess 70% of the members here are fucking posers. You can spot them right away. They fucking TALK. Talk, talk, talk: never about lifting. While all the posers talk away, I’m at the gym, eating, or both at the same time. I read the articles that interest me. I scan the threads occasionally. If I have something of value to say, I’ll say it. I know the members that have anything of value to read. I read their posts. The rest is plain entertainment.

It has nothing to do with T-Nation. It has everything to do with its members. As an adult, you have to use a discerning eye and weed out the posers. Ignore them completely. They do not exist.

Where along the spectrum of poser to “Brotherhood of Iron” do you fit, PGA? With an admission on your part, I can scale your gripe accordingly. Then, I can re-think the seriousness of this thread.
kroby wrote:

70 percent??? I’d hazard to guess you’re out of your fucking mind, and being far too generous.

There’s maybe 10 people on this board who I take seriously for their training/nutrition advice.

Plenty of others entertain the hell out of me, and once in a while contribute something outside of the “Get a Life” or “Sex and the Male Animal” threads, but a lot of those people don’t claim to be all hardcore know-it-all trainees either, so I don’t think they’re technically “posers”.

Either way, hurry up and reply PGA, I can’t wait to hear how much of a poser you are…

Ten people? Your very small window (0.1% confidence interval) limits “potential” different views that may be beneficial. BUT. Your present physical stature would suggest you know what the hell you’re doing, and don’t really need info; as what you do works.

Wait. Are you suggesting that there are only ten non posers on T-Nation, or just ten people that you could learn from? There are more than ten non posers.

Kroby, nice blistering fastball on the original post.

Oh, by the way, he’s only got ten fingers man, so there are no bigger numbers… cut him some slack!

I was thinking Estrogen Nation would be appropriate with all this bitching going on.

It has to be the time of year.

Everyone’s testosterone levels are dropping like a stone so they can put some fat stores on for the upcoming winter… yeah, that’s the ticket, that’s why the place is so whiny all of a sudden.

HAHA! Thats right mother fucker! If I did put you on there people would have said “he’s laundry listing his boyz and trying to defend them.” When in reality you fuckers are some of, if not the biggest fuckers on the board. Sooooooo…who’s advice would I take and listen to? Premadonnas looking to slowly clean clean bulk over 62 years or people who actually put on appreciable muscle?
Your wrong mother fucker and im gonna get fucking huge and kick your ass…no hitting in the face though alright?

First got here 142lbs skinny fat. Currently 170lbs. Was 179lbs in May, photos out there, search. I’m 5’7"

DL
Starting Weight=Nada never did them
Last Max 345lbsx2

Squat
Starting Weight=Nada never did them
Last Max 345lbsx3

Bench
Starting Weight=115lbs
Last Max=285lbsx1

I lift consistantly from October to May. Every summer I play golf 6 days a week and weight training goes to the wayside. This year will be the first year I will have in-home gym equipment and will be able to get in more than 6 sessions total from May to August, which is what I got this year.

I like the colors red and black, I’ve hit a drive close to 400 yards and am currently a full-time designer and a part-time student.

Anything more?

Eh, throw some RDL’s and incline bench press in there, and add some eggs with that milk, and I’ll include you.

Either way, you at least appear to be on the right track to muscle-dom, unlike most people on here that scream “but I train for strength, I don’t care about size!!” just because they can’t figure out how to put on any muscle…

Nicely done. But yeah, I was just too lazy to take my socks off, or maybe there would’ve been more than 10 people who I take seriously here…

There are around 10 who you should listen to and a few others you can kinda listen to.

Must listen to:
X
Bauer
AA
Heavy
Phill
Cardoza
Gojira
AG1
Erica

Those are the easily identifible ones.
