T Boosters and Test:Epitest Ratio?

I’m preparing for my first AAPF Powerlifting Meet and noticed that for the drug test they use the Testosterone/Epitestosterone ratio to determine if you pass or not. The ratio cannot be over 6:1. I’ve done about two months of some generic lower grade Tribulus and Eurycoma longifolia, but I’m about to start a month cycle of Alpha Male. I was wondering if my test levels would get too high to pass a test and if i should back off supplementing it for a while? The meet is Oct 30th. Thanks everyone.

Don’t take my word as gold, as my source here was Wikipedia and looking up what Wikipedia cited:

I don’t think those supplements will be of concern. Epitestosterone seems to increase with testosterone levels IF the testosterone was produced in the body, but Epitest levels won’t increase if you injected exogeneous testosterone. So the ratio differs only in the latter case.

Since these supplements supposed work by increasing endogeneous production of testosterone, epitest levels should go up accordingly and leave the ratio between the two relatively similar.

This is at least what I interpreted, it would probably be best to get other opinions on this.

I doubt you’ll experience much results in the first place from this “lower grade” material as the vast majority of products we’ve tested lack potency. However, you don’t have to worry about your ratio when using supps that increase endogenous Test as it remains fairly steady.

The only reason to be concerned is if these products are potentially spiked with illegal substances to increase T.

Thanks
