If I want to call someone a flaming fucking jerkoff because they think ugly ass Palin is going to be a good VP, I actually get to do it here.

Bullshit - you’d hit it. You know you would. You may not tell anyone, but you’d hit it.

With a Mack truck.

Fuck that. Chicks in glasses are hawt.

Sexy librarian anyone?

I seriously think that women will get the McCain/Palin ticket “over the hump”.

That was the plan all along. And if you look at the McCain’s campaign reaction to Obama’s “lipstick on a pig”, it should be obvious that they’re willing to milk the women’s vote as much as possible.

Exactly how stupid are you?

Each side in a political campaign will attempt to take every advantage that they can. Including “misspeaks” like the one Obama made. If you don’t know this by now get the fuck off the political forum…CLOWN.

Have you noticed the lack of opposing opinions on the Political Forum lately? Here’s a perfect example of why - the first thing close to a dissenting opinion and you attack him like he’s personally insulted you.

If you want this forum to be a place where people share ideas and encourage open debate, you might want to tune down the vitriol.

However, if you’re all content to continue sucking each other’s political dicks, then by all means continue.

They don’t want open debate. That is why so many people have stopped even reading this forum. There was nothing wrong with what Lixy wrote yet he gets jumped no matter what he writes as if he just killed someone’s mother.

That shit got old about two years ago.
Seconded.

Maybe the whiners on the left need to try to get some bullshit T Nation rule calling for equal amounts of posts from both sides. They could call it the “Fairness Doctrine II.”

It seems that people on this thread are very much like the people who listen to talk radio.

Fuck that… I’d rather just call out you cunts for exactly what you are. I don’t need mods to do it for me.

I don’t think Palin is ugly and that is part of the problem. She isn’t ugly, and her looks allow her to have people overlook many things about her, her background and her record.

Add being a wife and mother of five and she is a GOP wet dream of a distraction. Any attacks on her will garner all types of sympathy for her and make the attacker look like a monster. Meanwhile, she could be just as vicious a monster and people will excuse her.

Just look at the whole bullshit about “lipstick on a pig”. People lost their fucking minds over that. Nevermind the fact that she compared herself to a DOG with lipstick. And we all know what a female dog is called. So was that any better? No!

If she was ugly and had the very same backgound, everything would be totally different. Nobody has sympathy for ugly people.

lol. You might have a point. Hillary has been lambasted for lots of things over the years that would probably be much easier for her to slough off in the media if she was actually attractive in any way.

But regardless, it was a great GOP political move to pull her number up at the time. I have to give them mucho credit for that one.

Oh no…my feelings are so hurt…call the mods quick…No wait those are the liberal whiners that do that.
I don’t give a fuck what you call me…

Who the fuck called a mod? Am I missing something?

People complaining that this forum has turned into a right wing blowjob barn is not synonymous with asking for censorship.

You MUST be from Jersey…

It’s a right-wing circle jerk over here.

At times, I find it fascinating.

This forum used to be a lot better.

There is no way debate can take place here when it seems to simply be some strange congregation of like minded conservatives. I am not sure what Lixy gets out of posting here at all.

People actually used to read this forum like the others.
One of the reasons I keep hanging in there (as do lixy, forlife, orion et. al.). Defending ‘my’ natural forum habitat, trying to keep the quality of debate up - and a balance to the conservative majority. Leaving and shutting off from it doesn’t seem right to me somehow.

Makkun

If one compares, in example, the interview that Charles Gibson did with Obama (“How did life in Hawaii suit you as a child, Senator?”) with the interview that Gibson did with Palin (“Why are you qualified to be POTUS?”), it becomes obvious how the media clearly pushes Obama. Yet Fox News is the biased one.

The treatment accorded conservatives, and all decent people in this country FWIW, is purely shameful on the part of the liberals.

He’s madly in love with Hillary. Here she is, just across the river in NYC, and he can’t have her. Maybe he has a thing for cankles.

Thomas Jefferson:

?? In extracting the pure principles which he taught, we should have to strip off the artificial vestments in which they have been muffled by priests, who have travestied them into various forms, as instruments of riches and power to themselves. We must dismiss the Platonists and Plotinists, the Stagyrites and Gamalielites, the Eclectics, the Gnostics and Scholastics, their essences and emanations, their logos and demiurges, aeons and daemons, male and female, with a long train of ? or, shall I say at once, of nonsense. We must reduce our volume to the simple evangelists, select, even from them, the very words only of Jesus, paring off the amphibologisms into which they have been led, by forgetting often, or not understanding, what had fallen from him, by giving their own misconceptions as his dicta, and expressing unintelligibly for others what they had not understood themselves. There will be found remaining the most sublime and benevolent code of morals which has ever been offered to man."

Wow. Proof that you’ve never read anything I’ve ever written. I fucking hate Hillary Clinton. We had just got rid of one pig when the this one came… a shame.

And Flamer, maybe it’s the glasses or something, or the accent. But I always have a problem finding middle aged mothers hot. It’s not my style.
