I picked up this little gadget in the footcare department. it is a razor blade kinda thingy, designed for shaving calluses off feet. It would work great on hands, too…I have to be careful or I shave off the good skin, too. But I am kind of a clutz, and having a handle prevents me from slicing off the tips of my fingers.
BTW, reading your log and others here is very inspiring to me, and entertaining as well.

Are you talking about the cheese grater looking thing? If it is, I don’t think I could use it. I’d never look at parmesan the same way again
My problem (among many) is that I’m lazy about hand and foot care. I don’t paint my nails and I keep them very short. That lack of interest extends to my calluses until they become truly unfortunate.
Thanks for the compliment of my log. I find it a great place to vent.

That’s what happens when you masturbate too much. Turns out you don’t get hair on your palms, just open sores.

Don’t I know it!
if the razor blade isnt fun enough, you could always break out the power sander.

It looks more like a vegetable peeler with razor blades instead of the peeling blades…it does have a cheese grater attachment.
Wednesday June 10, Garage
Mobility warm up coupled with yelling at my daughter about a summer literacy program I’m going to insist she takes.
A Squat
45x10
95x5
135x5
155x5x5
135x3x10
B Bench
45x10
65x5
95x3
95x5x3 - (pause each rep)
85x2x7
C Snatch grip deads
155x3x5
135x7
Video of snd’s. I’m using hook grip. One of the reasons, I peeled the blister/callus off Monday night so I’d have some new skin regrowth by last night. I still have a crater on my palm by there’s new skin.
D Walking DB lunge
3x7x30
1x10x30
I did these out the front of the garage and down the sidewalk in front of my house. I live on a court so it’s pretty quiet but there was a guy out walking his dog who stopped to watch the show. I have not doubt it was very entertaining. Any unilateral leg work is a challenge for me and I think I looked like John Cleese doing one of his silly walks.
Dragon Flags
I started these but they killed my back so much, I packed it in
E1 Planks
3 sets at 90 seconds
E2 B Suitcase lift
3x10/side at 35lbs
Final set of squats
155x10
This set was really tough. My ass still hurts this morning. Enjoy the sassy, sweaty hair do. I can imagine how hot the garage will be in August.
I changed my set up to walk out the front of the rack. I like it better. It feels more like a meet. It’s also a better view of my wider stance; not to mention my stork legs and the fact that I look a bit knock kneed.
Hey, O, Nice Rack!
You are working hard ! nice work.
Snatch grip deads looked good, good speed.
last set of squat looked good too, push those knees out girl!
great work.
I think the stork legs are kind of hot

I think it’s great you know who john cleese is, and that you referenced him in you log.

It probably shows my age more than anything but I am a Monty Python fan.
nice job on the SGDL, looking solid O.
hook grip just plain old sucks, my oly coach tried to get me using that, no way, hurts too much and I’m a wimp.

Thanks ‘k’
Even with the stance change my knees still cave a bit when I get tired. I think I could have gone for 20 reps at 155 but it would have flattened me. I had a tough enough time on Monday after my foolishness last Sunday. Sometimes I forget I’m not 8 years old any more.

Hook grip does hurt but I can’t do many reps without it. I kept it light. Saturday morning I’m heading out to play with gear again. I’m feeling really strong and am looking forward to seeing what I can do.
