Sweet Pollyanna in LaLa land

Nice squatting, you seem like you are dialed in for your meet.

You are two weeks away right?

Nice work.

I was serious about knowing electricians in toronto- or close to it-
you know they make movies up there.

an electrician should cost about 75 dollars an hour but nothing takes an hour,
usually there is a minimum- or its not worth their time.

the outlet just needs to be changed, if you really want
you just turn off the breaker and its eay- I can walk you through it.

Does this mean you have to give Dianab a tiara?

Anywho…
warm up/mobility

A shit ton of sets…

On the upside, despite being tired, I had a good workout.[/quote]

Looks like you’re the Queen of Volume… holy mother that’s a lot of sets.

PS: I said sets, not sex.

Training is lookin’ good kiddo! Use the anger, let it fuel you… tuck it away in a little closet in your mind, then unleash it at the meet. No firearms or sharp instruments though… lol!

The guy just finished fixing my outlet for $40 (Cdn). I got him through my appliance guy.

I picked up a carpet cleaner rental and that’s tonight’s craft. Fun.

I’m off work tomorrow and it’s supposed to be beautiful so hopefully we’ll all hit Port Dover.

Joe, I’m feeling pretty good about it. My last training day is Saturday where I’ll go to openers on Squat and bench. Then it’s just stroking the cat for the next week.

Yeah rub it in. I’ll be sitting behind a computer all day!

I’ll think about you while I eat perch

I just wanted to stop by and say hi and thanks for welcoming me. Good luck with your meet. Will you be literally stroking the cat next week , or is that some kind of PL cool-kid euphemism? I need to know these things.

My coaches always said not to do that before a game.

Wait…what?

hahaha. I think that only applies to men. It’s all good for women. You know, idle hands and all that.

Glad the electrician worked out, that is cheap-
Im sure he just changed the outlet.

Do you have to use conduit or BX cable in canada- or Romex-
Romex will be white and rubber- its what the wires are in.

So, here you are sitting tight- one week left-
how many times have you packed your gear bag??

Okay so I have a question. I have been kicking around the idea of getting involved in Pling, though I’m weak as a kitten, so if you don’t mind I thought I’d ask the details of how you got invovled considering you’ve been so sucessful at it.

x2 - I’ve even started looking for local meets…

I’ll give you all the info I have but it was an evolutionary process. One way is to start sourcing local meets and lifters. There is a site I believe is called powerlifting.com. PMPM knows the name.

I’ll give more detail later. Right now I’m brain dead. I woke up dizzy and feeling like I have vertigo and am going to fall over. Even rolling over in bed felt weird. I’m taking the girls to the beach so baking my head should be even better

Yup, powerliftingwatch.com

The best way to get involved is to attend a few meets and get to know people. We’re really very friendly - well, except for Court…and ouroboro…and me.

I got into it after a drinking buddy who was also a PT showed me how to DL, and then I met my coach through his wife, who worked at my old job.

Oh, and feel better, slutmonkey. Stroke that kitty!

blushes

How could I not feel better after that

I think the dizziness was a blood sugar thing. I felt better through the day as I ate. I’ve been freaking hungry lately and Thursday evening I spent the entire time cleaning carpets and forgot to eat something before I went to bed. A friend of mine laughed at me the other night and asked if I was going to be beating one of the big guys in a race for the buffet table after the meet.

That’s a good website! I have been searching the internet for decent gyms and they were all at least a few towns over. I go to that website and find one 10 min away. I will have to check it out while I’m on vacation.
