I was diagnosed with shoulder impingement in December by an MRI and no rehab has been successful. I will probably need the right one done too which will hopefully be in a few months. I was told 8 weeks is the length of a full recovery.
I am scheduled to have the surgery on Friday (Sept. 19th).
I did a search and found a few people who had it done, but no long term updates so I thought I would just make a new post.
Has anyone been through this and how are you doing now?

Thanks for the reply. The pain is not bad at all. I feel like I could move already, but I’m waiting till the morning like I was told.
Did you ever experience symptoms in your opposite shoulder before surgery? If you did, did the symptoms get better afterwards? My right shoulder feels the same way when my left shoulder started to hurt. My doctor says it will get better now that my other shoulder is fixed, but I have a hard time believing it. I hope he is right though.
I had my right shoulder done and my left started acting the same about a year ago
so i started paying more attention to rotar
cuff exercises and now it’s all good.i have stoped doing all BB chest and only do DB work.
