Surge-- better late than never?

So I lifted this morning at about 7 o’clock, and am already feeling some soreness coming on (ABBH ruins me, plus I’ve always had a real high degree of soreness).

I just talked to my fiancee and it looks like my tub of Surge is sitting at home waiting for me. Would it be a waste of the stuff to take it 8-10 hours after a workout, or will it still help increase recovery speed?

IMHO I would save the Surge for your workout/postworkout and follow your regular eating plan, just get some extra vit C in.
