Got two related questions here, revolving around what constitutes an “empty stomach”.
TRIBEX Gold needs to be taken on an empty stomach, which is fine, as I can take it when I wake up for my first dose. But ho long afterwards can I eat?
Same, but in reverse for my ZMA supplement. “Take 30-45 minutes before bedtime, preferably on an empty stomach.” But I miss my pre-bed shake. Could I take my ZMA and then 30 minutes later take my final shake of the day?

Generally two to three hours after a meal would then be considered an empty stomach. This allows for enough time for adequate digestion to occur. For your ZMA just make sure you allow for thirty minutes to an hour apart from any intake of calcium containing products which can inhibit optimum absorption. No big deal really, just have your shake around an hour before bed time and right when you go to bed down your ZMA or vice versa. Don’t get bogged down “how should it be done” paralysis.
2 hours after and or 30 minutes prior to a meal. Of course on before dependent on meal size. If you sat down to an all you can eat buffet then NO but generally yes.
