One question that I don’t think has been brough up at all. What are your stats?
Height, weight, bf%(if available but not necessary). Maybe some lift numbers? Hell, anything that you think will help.

Not very good. Your approach is misguided. You will not gain muscle on this. Is this coming to the 1500 calories you previously mentioned? Even if your current goal is fat loss, which I think is a mistake, 1500 is too low. You need to take a look at Berardi like I said. Good that you realize you need to up the calories. The fat is not just about right. Read up! Fat is important for proper hormone function. And fat does not make you fat. You need to increase all three macronutrients. If you must, you can keep the carbs steady.
