Supplement Advice for Big Gains

This is my first post on the site, so I’ll give you a brief background. From 1998-2002 I worked out regularly and had great success. I stumbled upon a product called MAG-10, and I became hooked instantly. The results were phenomenal. In 2002 I had ankle surgery, and then another in 2003. And I’ve never really gotten serious about hitting the gym since then. Its now 6 years later and I’ve put on a lot of weight, and trying to get back in shape.

Last month, I started working out. Cardio at about 6am before work, and lifting in the evening after work. I bought ‘Rapid Cuts Hardcore’ to help with the weight loss and energy, and ISO-FLEX for post workout protein. I’ve been using both for the last month, I’ve gotten some of the fat off, and I’m starting to gain a little muscle back.

I’m ready to get serious with my lifting again and I’m looking for a supplement to give me the boost I was getting back in 2002. I’ve been away for so long, I don’t know anything about what’s available. I know MAG-10 and those other products are long gone. But what’s out there now? What do you recommend?

Recommend? That you train for another year before you even consider any type of anabolic wannabe supplement. And then re-consider it. Fish oil, protein powder and a multi-vit should be all that you’d need. Oh, and that really anabolic stuff…I think they call it food.

Thank you for allowing me to save some of my breath.

My advice on the best supplements to get big:

  1. Lift hard
  2. Eat a lot of clean food

There we go, think you can remember those two?
