Supp Any Good?

American Stamina - Hey guys I was wondering if any of you guys heard of this supplement and/or have taken it…Nutritional facts seem pretty good, and its cheap as hell…What do you guys think about it? Im trying to save a couple of bucks on glutamine and creatine, and the guy at GNC suggested this.

Thanks.

xvsanta42, the creatine here on the site is a better value. It’s about half the price.
There isn’t any need to supplement with glutamine if you’re eating protein every meal. David Barr wrote an article here on the site about arginine’s supposed benefits. The NAC isn’t being supplied at a high enough dose to do you any good. And if it were, Vitamin C should be included in a 2:1 ratio because NAC’s a pro-oxidant (opposite of antioxidant).

And if that’s not enough, they’re recommending it at twice the dose you actually need. Guess that’s good for sales, though, even if it’s bad for your wallet. (grin)

The creatine on this site, and no glutamine as long as i eat protein with every meal?

Yes, exactly! It might not sound as exotic, but you’ll get a bigger bang for your buck. (grin)
