Popularity: Batman and Wolverine > Thor, Superman, Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, or Kilowog
First of all, only 4 people in this forum knows who Kilowog is. Second of all, if you want to go by popularity votes, that means that Wolverine beating Lobo in a bar fight in Marvel vs DC was legit. Third, how can you say Fuck Hal Jordan? He was cool even before he became Parallax.
Third of all. I like Hal Jordan, and I’m glad he’s alive again. I was just annoyed the their were only Hal Jordan T-Shirts and no Kilowog or Mogo T-Shirts. As if Hal is the ONLY Green Lantern.
Second of all. Screw popularity. I didn’t start an obsession with video games and comic books to be popular. However, I believe that there is a direct correlation between the number of T-Shirt designs available and the sheer awesomeness of a comic book character.
First of all. See Pic Above, Poozer.
You are so fucking lucky I can’t find the picture where Hal Jordan kills Kilowog during Emerald Twilight.
If you think T-shirt designs available determines the awesomeness of the character, you are just wrong. There are cool characters with no T-shirts in their name.
If I find that pic of Kilowog getting burned to a crisp by Hal, I’ll make it my new avatar.
Dr. Manhattan is said to be a god, Thor kills gods, 'nuff said.
Wol wins
We don’t know how Dr. Manhattan could handle it, because although Watchmen is technically a form of DC Universe, there is no god in that world, and we don’t know the full extent of his powers. He is said to be a god, but that is a commentary on how the world views him rather than what he actually is. I would avoid bringing Dr. Manhattan into these discussions.

I was totally trolling when I threw Dr. Manhattan in there… but how can he possibly lose to anyone he manipulates mater itself
Enjoying this discussion thoroughly. I’m somewhat of a fringe comic fan…always loved to read them, never really allowed to collect them as a kid. As a result I have too much catching up to do to keep up with everything happening. Just wishing I could have attained comic nerd status while in my truly nerdy days…

Jordan was good. The best, for a while.
His story’s been told, though. So’s Rayner’s. We need someone new to carry the light.
No, they still have at least one more story to tell. They need to bring Jade back from death. If there is one thing I learned from years of watching Star Trek, it’s that the universe is a happier place with beautiful green skinned women.
We don’t need anymore lanterns from 2814. Guy Gardner is getting some good use finally, but John Stewart is still woefully under used. They need to get the crews who brought back Luck Cage and Black Panther to work on Stewart.
Hell, I didn’t think the Sinestro thing was a spoiler. And the Kilo thing, well, it’s not really that big a deal. It’s what he’s doing while holding them off that would be telling . . .
