Super Bowl XLII Predictions?

OK T-Nation, let’s hear your predictions for the big one.

My prediction: the Giants stun Baby-Daddy Brady, Senior Seau, Rodney HGHarrison, Wee Wes Welker and company, 31-28.

Go Big Blue! Let the hating begin!

The Brady Bunch stomps out the Giants in a very close game similar to before. Game comes down to a field goal and the Pats win making history baby!! That’s the only reason I’m going for the Pats just to see an undefeated team. That’s really rare. Jeeze why are those in the #1 apot in anything always hated on the most. :frowning:

Because they’re from new england and we all know you guys are a bunch of massholes.

Jealousy has such an ugly face.

And frankly, I find it rather pathetic that the OP has these childish nicknames for the players.

Giants hang around for a little while, but never really put up a legitimate threat. Both teams just kind of play out the string in the final 20 minutes as NE wins by 10-14.

Pats 31 Giants 17

Game is a blowout, Brady goes super clutch like he always does in playoff and is lightning focused. Now the pats finally have a break to regain themselves they won’t lose this one, everything is on the line for them. If they lose it will hurt them for many seasons. It just can’t happen, history will be made pats go down as best team ever-sigh-

I really hope the giants win though, even though 99% chance wont happen. The giants secondary is just horrible and with the worst kicker in the NFL can’t expect to win that way.

I won’t make a prediction.

I will say the giants are hot right now, red hot. Pats arnt so hot. Brady is coming off his worst game all season. Their Defense did great stoping a injured chargers but can they hold the giants to no TDs? I doubt it.

shizen, don’t be pissed that your team lost ; )

I’m not going to say who’s gonna win or who’s gonna lose. What I am gonna say is that the game is going to be a lot closer than the line predicts.

Let’s put it this way: I won’t be surprised if either team wins.

Pats 34 Giants 10

patriots win. i want to witness the best team to ever play and reach perfection.

I dont get it. Your location says New York…Your not one of those upstaters that thinks New York is part of New England are ya? NY is not part of NE.

I saw on sportscenter today that Tom Brady was wearing a boot on his foot. If it’s a real injury the super bowl could be much more different than their previous meeting. No offense to matt cassell but he’s no baby-daddy brady. I like New England 28-20

I can only pray that there is a horrible earth quake, swallowing both teams up, and sending them to hell.

There will be no winner in XLII - we all lose.

We all win because we get to see the Patriots perfect season.

Pats win this one but won’t beat the spread.

anyone else think it could just be a charade to give false hopes to the giants.
I wouldn’t put it past this sneaky team to hoax something like this. Realistically, if your star player is hurt would you want him out in public knowing the paparazzi is around. At least wait till the boot is gone to go prancing about.

my prediction is the Pats will win. They haven’t been beat yet, and I don’t see Brady having another bad game.

though I want the Giants to win, damn I hate the Pats

RJ- F U

Who wins? Big Blue.

You know it bitches. It’s evident by now that God is on our side, for that’s the only reason that we’ve won ten in a row on the road and through the playoffs…

GOD WILLS IT!!!

SportsCenter update during the Tennessee/Kentucky game says that Brady is no longer wearing the boot.

Guys, forget about the boot; it’s a total non-issue.

Unless he gets hit by a bus between now and the SB, Brady will play, and he will be healthy enough to operate at 100%.

I wouldn’t be a true Giants fan if I didn’t pick them to win.

Yes, it’s going to be awfully tough, but I really do think the Giants have it in them to pull it off. They played NE super-tough in Week 17. I think if they make some adjustments in terms of their coverage (they let Moss run deep too often), get pressure on Brady (not necessarily sacks but pressure him into early throws and knock him down) and have the offense play mistake-free football like they have been, they can win.

The Giants have gone well above my expectations for them this season, so this is sweet seeing them get to the Super Bowl. I remember being disappointed in 2001 when they lost to the Ravens. I’d like to see them win, as I was 11 the last time they won the big game.
