Brandon Majewski was riding bicycles with two friends after midnight on Oct. 28, 2012, when he was fatally struck by a SUV. The motorist is now suing his family for â??pain and suffering.â??
WTF!!!

Hopefully a Canadian Judge will throw this out.
Maybe someone with actual legal knowledge will respond, but this looks like it could be a case of “dueling lawsuits”. The boy’s family is suing her and claiming that the police investigation was mishandled. I wonder if she is simply counter suing in hopes of somehow boosting her odds in their suit against her.

That would make more sense
Kind of what I saw. Looks like the family is grasping at straws that don’t appear to be there and making wild accusations (out of pain no doubt and somewhat understandable) but this is a countersuit to try and get them to back off.
