Suicide on Webcam

Everytime I read a story about someone committing suicide something deep inside me wishes that I was in that persons life to talk them out of it or at least offer my friendship to help them. The mind can be a hellish prison for some people.

I know everyone on this board is soo bad ass that other people don’t matter and fuck crossfiters and everyday joes who want to get into shape, fuck the P90x and 300 crowd, etc. etc. (/sarcasm)

It’s “fuck everyone who wants to bash bodybuilding”. Get it right. We have member here who are respected despite only lifting to get in shape. Respected because they don’t go out of their way to tell people not to “get too big”.

This is not the thread to bring up your bullshit. Take it elsewhere.[/quote]

I never said anything about bashing bodybuilding LOL!!!

I am talking about RESPECT. Tired of seeing all of the bashing going on. ON BOTH SIDES

i’m done talking about this. This is off topic of what I was getting at. Next time read EVERYTHING i type not just one little sentence.

I never said you did. Every time I see people picking on the Crossfit or general fitness types, it was provoked. Either in that thread or a previous thread. And if you’re tired of seeing the bashing on both sides, that say that instead of the tripe you posted.

I wonder if the detectives are going to start tracking down the posters who were saying stuff like “fuck you, kill yourself” etc etc, and charge them. I could see this really blowing up.

Poor kid.

And to SSC: everyone has thought about suicide, its natural, so obviously you hate yourself too.

So reading BB.com forums can kill you…

This is sad. The people on BB.com should be ashamed of themselves. I feel terrible for this kids parents.

That’s so sad, poor kid I wish he could’ve realized that it really does get better.

I might be a mean, cold hearted, emotionally damaged monster but even I’ve had enough low points in my life to feel a little bit of empathy and not be one of those motherfuckers screaming jump.

WTF is wrong with people?

thats why you should be more responsible when you post.

people seem to think that they can post seriously offensive comments and join the heard consequence free.

the internet is real, real comments are recieved by real people.

the sooner people grow the fuck up, the better.

so think of that next time before you go typing about how someone looks like “fried shit” in their thread.

oh please, fuck yourself.
If you post yourself in RMP looking like fried shit, then someone needs to tell you the truth.

What a stupid comparison.

The guy on bbing.com WASN’T ellie’s boyfriend, it was a joke. Just like the fried shit guy was a troll, not real.

As someone who works for a law enforcement agency I can assure you that it will be investigated. What is interesting to watch is how the myspace suicide case turns out as this would be the most recent high profile case of a similar nature.

As far as the BB site, the owners/admin could be in for a very rough legal time. With the trash that I see on their forums, a case can easily be made that they ?knew or should have known? and are therefore negligent to some degree.

Criminal charges would be hard to prove but a good civil lawyer could have a field day with this. Civil = $$$$

Lets not get too carried away now. They aren’t all bad. Everyone on the forum wasn’t making fun of him or encouraging him. There are over 10,000 members there and a small portion of them did that.

I didn’t see the original thread, just the aftermath today. Most people were obviously as sickened and angry as all of you, as am I. But, there were the odd assholes still making fun of him and posting things like SSG did. I agree, the forums there are full of the most immature little punks around.

But I’ve been an active member there and I’m not like that either. I’m a guy who likes to post in the exercises forums to help other people reach their bbing goals and sometimes have some fun in the off topic section(the misc). I may do all of that here now though. This is a much more mature place.

And my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. It’s kind of weird that I feel sad. I have seen him post before but have never talked(posted) with him directly. I guess it’s always sad though. I NEVER plan to watch that video.

I got linked to the video from another forum and watched it happen.

Very sad seeing him just lying on that bed without moving while the comments were being filled with insults and laughter.

Anonymity can bring out the worst in people.

Why would you want to watch that?

Fair enough, my post was long winded. I had a long day and I was upset by the suicide. Just a sad situation

Anonymity brings out the truth about people.

I remember being in that boat, thinking my life was a waste. I thank God for the people around me that helped me up. Haven’t thought about it in a long time.

Understandable. Suicide is never pretty.

And the fact that this kid was dead for hours while people posted such garbage on BB.com just makes it that much worse.

Rest in Peace

The same reason the World Trade Center site in NYC is now a major tourist attraction.

I hope whoever encouraged him to do it, rots in jail.

Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

Should you ever feel that bad, and post here would you not expect people to be kind and open ??

The internet has opened the doors for every idiot in the world to join forums/conversations. In towns/cities they are outnumbered and kept quiet online they are all “hard men” Fucking cowards the whole lot of them.

May that poor misguided guy, who many times threatened to do it found his only solace of joy to be was people watching him die rest in peace and in death not have to deal with the every day bullshit that we deal with.

In all my time here, or on other forums i have never uttered one bad word to a singular person and have not had one bad word uttered to me. THAT is how it should be.

In closing, if you see someone screaming for attention via saying they will kill themselves just remember its better to 99/100 times that its a “troll” and you help them rather than that 1 time its a person on the edge screaming for attention.

Good night people, i wish you all a happy november… try make your life count eh ? Help a beginner out on the forums, be nice to some poor soul on the RMP who’s misguided notions lead him/her to believe that 100lbs and ripped is what this world applauds.

In homage to those who have died?

Ive seen some of the crazy videos on the web of people getting beheaded and stuff. While I won’t say that I enjoyed it, I think until you have seen someone die, you are curious as to what it looks like.

I know in the back of my mind I wanted to see if it was how it is portrayed in the movies. After seeing it, I was pretty freaked out, but I just felt like I HAD to see what it looked like to see someone die.

You can call me sick or whatever, but I can understand why people would watch. Please don’t flame me about how our U.S. troops are watching their brothers die everyday and it’s nothing to be curious about etc etc, they aren’t related.

Wow…this is along the lines of that movie “Untraceable”, I don’t know if any of you all saw that movie but, this is something along those lines and it’s pretty frightening.
