About a week ago, someone posted a link to a thread on Bodybuilding.com where some guy posted pictures of his girlfriend modeling in front of his car.
The girlfriend, while not fully hideous, was(and is really) seriously unpleasant to look at, and the thread very quickly degenerated into a 50+ page long, million view, minor internet phenomenon of photoshopping and rude comments. Laughs were had by all. At some point in the thread, her name was revealed to be Ellie.

I think you may have some unresolved issues you should check out. This kid killed himself, how is that anything but cowardly? You can face down any problem, and believe me I know people who have. If you run away instead of facing your demons, you are a coward.
You have issue’s with people whom have pride? Perhaps people who work to better themselves are distasteful for you? Those who put the needs of their family above their own are deserving of our respect, which you do not seem to agree with.
This kid knew that killing himself would harm his family, yet he carried through with it. Instead of going to his father who wanted the best for him, he broke his heart instead. I’m a firm believer that you can work yourself into a better position, and that to simply quit when things look bleak is cowardly and harmful.
I think you need to clarify your post, because I feel like I’m getting a pretty bad message out of it.

I’m a member at BBing.com(ashamed, especially now). All day long there have been threads about this. Some people venting their anger that nothing was done and that others were egging him on to kill himself.
And many to make fun of him/ the situation. IMO, it is sick. Apparently this kid has “cried wolf” in threads before and tried to commit suicide so they feel it is ok to laugh about it and make fun of him.
Now though, it seems BBing.com is shut down. I assume it is being investigated. But yeah, I was pretty disgusted at how many d*ck heads were making fun of the situation or the guy himself.

While I don’t agree totally with SSC, my sympathy is nearly all for those around him who are affected by this. What they must be going through now is unimaginably painful. Not only have they lost someone close to them, they will always think in the back of their minds “maybe I could have done something… talked to him”.
And that truly is something people should never have to live with.
